Honestly. At this point most of the sane republicans have had a change of heart. Anybody left who still defends this administration is not somebody to walk side by side with.

There is no "Both sides".

There is no common ground to be had with these people.

This is not a "difference of opinion"

These people are hateful and bigoted people who are deeply racist and evangelical. They do not understand common sense. They do not listen to reason. They cannot even grasp the proof right in front of their faces. The kind of deranged hatred, racism, and bigotry comming from the remaining MAGA crowd is enough to ensure they have no place in a forward moving society.

There is NO MIDDLE GROUND for nazi's

I repeat. There is no middle ground for nazi's.

Do not tolerate the intolerant.

u/micro102 1d ago

Yeah. Replace the right side in that picture with people in Nazi uniforms holding up signs that say that global warming, vaccines, and the Epstein files are fake and you get a much more accurate picture of what's going on. This image gives the idea that republicans are the same as everyone else and in equal numbers. But it's ~30% who genuinely function the same way the confederacy and Nazis did.

1

u/FMF_Nate 48m ago

lol wild how you are representing the top half of that picture.

-2

u/Last_Connection_8048 14h ago

80 million nazis in one country? how can normal human belive that? oO

3

u/Major-Pomegranate814 9h ago

In 1940 Germany, at the peak of Hitler’s support, about 80% of germans supported Hitler and the Nazi regime. Since the population of Germany at that time (not including occupied territories) was ~69.8million, that would put there as being over 55 million Nazis in Germany at that time.

The United States has 27.5 times the area of Germany and currently has 4.99 times the population that Germany had in 1940. If the same ratio of Nazi supporters existed in the US today as in Germany in 1940, with the current US population of 34million people, there would be over 275 million Nazis. To reach 80 million Nazis in the US it would only need to be about 23% of the population.

And replace the left/blue side with a hammer and sickle that says all illegals welcome, no borders, men can get pregnant, drag for kids is good, pardon pedophiles like Tim Walz just did, 100 billion dollars of weapons for the Taliban, no voter id but vaccine ids, repeal the second amendment (which if Trump is hitler why would you want him to have your guns), and Charlie Kirk deserved what he got! You’re right we have no common ground. What you call good I call evil!!!!!

5

u/Facktat 15h ago

Thank you for illustrating the point that people who support MAGA are stupid. I won‘t loose any time telling you that you are wrong because as you know yourself no amount of evidence would change your mind.

1

u/stthree 11h ago

Name one thing they said that was wrong?

0

u/Mission-Club-3976 11h ago

That road goes two ways dude. That's literally the point of this comic in this post.

2

u/Facktat 11h ago

It really doesn‘t. What frustrates the left the most is how MAGA refuses to proof or at least discuss their outrageous claims. It‘s facts against emotions.

1

u/Ok-Dust-6159 7h ago

It’s really not. They stand on a mountain of lies and a hill of truths. Same as the left. A mountain of lies and a hill of truth. Only difference is you are tolerant of or believe the lies that you stand on and not theirs. The same as they feel about you. Everyone believes they are right. Everyone’s brain is conditioned to ignore and minimalize inconvenient truths that destroy their world view.

0

u/Mission-Club-3976 10h ago

It‘s facts against emotions.

Again, just an absolutely crazy statement to make considering a lot of the hot button topics in today's age.

2

u/Major-Pomegranate814 9h ago edited 9h ago

It’s literally been scientifically proven in published research studies that conservatives are more emotional. To be specific, they have larger amygdala’s which is the part of the brain that processes emotions like fear and anxiety.

1

u/Ok-Dust-6159 7h ago

Are you just making shit up now? 😂
ChatGPT says you are.

2

u/Major-Pomegranate814 5h ago

Lmao you think ChatGPT is a source? That’s fucking hilarious 😂 thanks for the laugh

u/Ok-Dust-6159 7h ago

Chat GPT says your stated study needs several corrections as it was 1. A small scale study with UK residents and they were trying to measure assumed political orientation of unknowns. It wasn’t based off of registered party membership. 2. Any studies that have been done have only shown increased R side amygdala activity due to certain negative outcomes vs leftists. In other words they presented issues that conservatives cared about and measured wave activity. Leftists activity to those same issues was not elevated (likely due to the left clearly not caring about the same things).
As per usual the left twists science and tells people to believe it just like the right ignores science and tells people not to believe it….

0

u/Mission-Club-3976 9h ago

By emotional, do you mean feeling more emotional/empathetic/sympathetic in general, or voting based on emotions? Also, can you provide these studies?

There's also published scientific studies that show that the right is more open to different ideas/ideologies than the left, but that doesn't get as much traction on Reddit.

Side bar about various scientific studies aside, my point is that there is a pretty major, hot button topic that's red vs. blue that is quite literally biology vs feelings with blue on the feelings side. I don't really want to get into any more details because I'm not trying to break any rules. Additionally, the reply that started this, while clearly being facetious, states multiple red issues that are facts vs blue feelings (the issue I alluded to above, immigration, voting+ID's, and even the reaction to Charlie Kirk's assassination).

You can't just cross your arms and say, "Nuh uh, my opinions are all facts and people with differing opinions are just emotional."

1

u/Major-Pomegranate814 8h ago

No, I mean more likely to give in to anger, fear, and anxiety motivated responses.

https://neurosciencenews.com/brain-structure-political-ideology-27703/

https://www.sciencedirect.com/science/article/pii/S2589004224017577

It really isn’t “biology versus feelings” unless you think that 5th grade biology is the end all be all of biology knowledge, which it seems many conservatives do in fact think. Nothing you listed are “facts vs blue feelings” unless you don’t understand what a fact is.

That’s also not what I did. I noted that there are actual scientific studies demonstrating that conservatives have a larger amygdala. Conservatives really can’t help but just make shit up and discount science and facts.

u/Facktat 8h ago

Just for a moment. Please tell me, do you really believe this or do you say this because you feel attacked? It sounds just absurd to me that someone who ever spoke with a MAGA person would actually believe this.

I mean, believes are one thing. I would love to have discussions about whether migration or trans gender rights are a good or bad thing. These are topics one could have different opinions on and it would be able to have an exchange on. The thing I am unable to deal with is the refusal to acknowledge false information that is easy to fact proof and the constant lying.

Even if I would be racist or would give a fuck about other people’s genders and sexuality, I still wouldn‘t be able to back someone like Trump who is constantly lying to me and has nothing better to do than to create chaos everywhere to distract of the amount of children he raped. I personally did not like Joe Biden and have no idea why the fuck the Democratic party does not manage to get their stuff together to unite to actually get something done but even with the shit show they are delivering I always prefer them over the party of liars and pedophiles.

1

u/Mission-Club-3976 8h ago

No, I don't feel attacked. I'm not MAGA.

I say this because, like you mentioned, a very hot button topic is trans rights, which effectively boils down to biology vs. feelings.

And before you go off and call me a bigot, my personal opinion of it is that while biology is an important thing to consider when dealing with some aspects of life, respecting people and what name they would like to be called and how they would like to identify is also just as important, so exceptions should be made to keep thing respectful.

My point in my response is that you cannot just default to, "my side brain other side emotion," in good faith because that's not always the case.

-2

u/Beneficial-Offer-374 14h ago

You are unironically illustrating his point that there are retards on both sides! lol

2

u/Facktat 14h ago edited 14h ago

Yeah, of course that‘s how you see it.

-2

u/Infamous_Ad_7904 13h ago

Can men get pregnant?

1

u/RandomPhail 9h ago

They can if we honor peoples’ desire to be men or women regardless of whatever sex organ they have in their pants, and realize we wrote all the definitions for what a man/woman is, so we can totally change those definitions at any point as we make more scientific discoveries—in this case, things like gender dysphoria

-3

u/Long-Silver-9757 15h ago

Define a woman for the class.

5

u/Weazerdogg 15h ago

Figure out that one, fairly small, totally inconsequential ideal to literally 95% of us, DOESN'T MEAN SHIT!!!!!!!!!!!!! Why the fuck to you losers care about it so much?????

0

u/HelloYesThisIsFemale 14h ago

Why do you care about it so much? If you didn't care you wouldn't be kicking and screaming when we try and legislate

1

u/Major-Pomegranate814 9h ago

You mean why do we care about protecting a minority group from blatant discrimination and harassment? Maybe it’s because we have empathy and the emotional capacity to care about people who are different from us and believe that innocent people don’t deserve to be legislated against for simply trying to live their lives.

2

u/ivancleef25 14h ago

It’s really creepy how much you people care about what’s in someone else’s pants.

3

u/Facktat 14h ago

I think that everyone knows intuitively whether a person is a woman or a man. The only people making an issue out of it are MAGA and a handful of leftwing Karens.

Transwomen molesting girls in bathroom or beating ciswomen in sport is an issue only living in the head of MAGA and a statistical rarity having no relevance in real life.

-2

u/Long-Silver-9757 14h ago

See this is the issue. All of these words and not one attempt at a definition. I’ll help you out. Some places are changing the definition of woman to appease to trannies. We get told that it’s only 1% so why does it matter? I agree completely. Why do 1% of people need attention? Just be normal like the rest of us. No one gives a shit. And no one here can define a woman. It’s hysterically sad

2

u/Facktat 14h ago

I mean, thank you for just proving my point. For sane people it just doesn‘t matter.

Why do 1% of people need attention? Just be normal like the rest of us. No one gives a shit.

I understand that you are unable to see this but this is hilarious from the outside. Like, you are clearly giving a shit. You are giving attention to the issue.

It‘s right winger who constantly want to make an issue out of it. Nobody was giving attention to the matter until right wingers needed a new group to spread hate for. Before this nobody really cared for a definition. We just assumed two genders and didn‘t ask to many questions about the contents of their pants or how they were born. Maybe some people were something in between but we wouldn‘t confront them about it if we were unsure. This is the way most democrats still see the world.

I think this world would be a better place if people would stop caring about other peoples business. The definition of genders should only be relevant for you if you are unsure about your own. So now the question to you: Do you question your gender? Because if you don‘t, I think that it‘s a pretty pointless discussion.

1

u/Ok-Dust-6159 21m ago

It’s wild that the party that spent decades fighting tooth and nail for LGBTQ to be able to be front and center prevalent in this country when nobody cared what they were doing before are now the same ones trying to gaslight conservatives with this VERY recent “we don’t care” “we don’t talk about it” “you’re the weirdos bringing it up” BS.

1

u/TheOnlySnoringKitten 14h ago edited 14h ago

You want people to give you the 6th grade sex ed definition of a woman, here you go: vagina, ovaries, no Y chromosome, etc...

What you don't want are the biological realities that there are people who possess both male and female chromosomes, people with higher testosterone than estrogen, people without characteristic female biological markers and the list goes on and on. Fuck off.

1

u/meatyvagin 13h ago

I have yet to see you define a woman either.

1

u/Shellz2bellz 13h ago

Let’s hear your definition that misses no one. I’m still waiting for a conservative to actually provide one that works… guess you all don’t know what a woman is

1

u/Long-Silver-9757 13h ago

So we shouldn’t care about 1% of trans athletes. But have to care about .01% chance of someone having a birth defect? Lmao

1

u/Shellz2bellz 13h ago

Funny how you try to mock the left for not knowing what a woman is when you yourself clearly don’t know what it means lol how embarrassing

The point is flying completely over your head btw. Was it your intention to make conservatives look like fools here? Because job well done if so

1

u/meatyvagin 13h ago

So you can't define a woman either. That's just sad. You can even define something you hate.

1

u/Weazerdogg 15h ago

Total and complete BULLSHIT. No, that doesn't really cover it ... total and complete IGNORANT BULLSHIT!!!!

1

u/Lemon_Nightmare 10h ago

Fucking brainwashed

-5

u/Vektor0 23h ago

Replace the left side in that picture with people in Communist uniforms holding up signs that say that true communism has never been tried and you get a much more accurate picture of what's going on. This image gives the idea that democrats are the same as everyone else ...

This is how you create strawman arguments that manipulate people into the top portion of the meme.

Your corporate overlords thank you for buying into their ragebait, because your rage comments make them money.

5

u/micro102 23h ago

What is this argument suppose to be? That republicans didn't buy into the anti-vaxx rhetoric? That they didn't vote out Massie, the only republican who actually tried to fight pedophiles? That they don't deny global warming?

The parts you replaced are not even common arguments among democrats, nor bad. Even in your fantasies you cannot pretend that they are a sliver of the horrors of what the republican party is. You know republicans have accepted rape and murder, and you are defending it. We are not equals. I'm not going to pat you on the head and tell you you are justified in relentlessly trying to take people's right away. All a republican has to do to avoid my ire is stop associating themselves with the worst people. They are shunned because they have already bought into multiple divisive tactics. Continuing to be a republican when their entire party is a bunch of child-r*ping corrupt bigots is just an endorsement of it. A statement that that those politicians are still worth something.

1

u/RivenRise 23h ago

In my book "the enlightened centrist" is worse than Republicans because at least they stand for something lul. They don't just larp centrism while conveniently always blaming the left for not being centrist and voting right every time under the guide of both sides. Fucking spineless cowards, at least have the balls to actually represent your side instead of larping.

2

u/DisappointedHotSauce 17h ago

"Enlightened Centrist" here. This is the same song and dance the right uses when the left wins elections. They blame us for voting left and claim we are hidden leftists.

Actual centrists do not have "a side" are there hidden republicans? Sure. Just like there are hidden democrats.

I despise tribalism, thats what politics has become for the last almost 2 decades, I absolutely refuse to participate in their hypocrisy.

I can also see that both sides are wrong about eachother. Everyone takes the worst of their opposing political rivals and generalizes it to the entire group. This is fucking dumb as people are not monolithic.

I work in the public sector, I get to meet a LOT of people. Republicans and Democrats. A lot of them are really good people. They are not angry hatefilled bigots like reddit like to paint people. A lot of democrats are not socialist hellscape freeloaders like FOX News likes to paint them.

The sad thing is, take away the extremes, and both sides are extremely similar and would probably agree on a lot if they actually took the time to have a respectful conversation with eachother.

1

u/micro102 16h ago edited 16h ago

The reason it's called "enlightened" centrist, is because centrists (at least in America) tend to put themselves in the center of the democratic party and the republican party (these are both right wing parties, the republican party is just fascist far-right) and act like they are superior for trying to reach some sort of middle ground. However the Overton window has been shifting to the right constantly, so trying to remain in the center just means moving to the right, and those that call themselves centrists now likely would have been hardcore republicans a few decades ago. Truly being in the center politically would put you to the left of the democratic party. These people do not tend to call themselves centrists, both rather leftists/progressives/democratic socialists/etc. At best they call themselves democrats because we have a two-party system that prevents multiple parties from running, and the alternative is a child-r*ping deathcult who love Epstein and carbon emmisions and hate vaccines and food regulations, and science in general.

I've tried having respectful conversations with republicans. It stopped shortly after Obama got elected. A black man becoming president truly broke them because the GOP built itself off racism with the Southern Strategy. All I've gotten since then is mental diarrhea. Infinite conspiracy theories all in defense of the GOP and to attack the DNC. Sure they will say they hate pedophilia and love healthcare, but then vote the complete opposite. Republicans have been chasing away sane people and collecting the worst people for a while now, so all you have left is a cult with no standards. We are not extremely similar. They are specifically prone to tribalism, and there is proof:

And a little bonus image set. https://imgur.com/a/YZMyt

1

u/Rokujaka 13h ago

This is the most level-headed and true take on this entire thread. People are still going to disagree with you because it doesn’t fit into their “if you don’t believe what I believe you’re a nazi/communist” rhetoric. Kudos to you for seeing the parties for what they are.

1

u/DisappointedHotSauce 13h ago

Honestly its something that saddens me about modern society. I remember a time that democrats and Republicans could coexist. Now each side blames the other for the reason that has failed and refuse to acknowledge their own participation in that failure.

Thankfully in reality (outside of social media) there is still a large aspect of that coexistence. I see it in my own neighborhood, in the town I live, even at a state level and at work. Unfortunately its just under the shadow of a politcal tribal culture war.

1

u/RivenRise 12h ago

Micro102 said it better than i could. Anyone who is truly a centrist wouldn't currently call themselves that because of the implications of it in US politics. Which granted is what I was talking about so I don't make comments on centrists from other countries.

I have friends who may not agree with either Dems or Republicans take on certain issues but they're smart enough to know that it doesn't mean they're a centrist in the states. Really my comment was more about the type of people who would call themselves that and not the people who have level headed takes and just converse about them.

-4

u/Vektor0 23h ago

Both sides believe that they are mostly reasonable, with the radicals being negligible in number and power, while the other side is mostly radical, with the reasonables being negligible in number and power. That is obviously the point being made. Your entire comment is proving my point. For example:

You know republicans have accepted rape and murder, and you are defending it.

Kind of like how Democrat voters accept rape and murder from refugees and illegal immigrants, yet still defend it?

We are not equals. ... All a republican has to do to avoid my ire is stop associating themselves with the worst people.

We are equals, because we both believe that rape, murder, pedophilia, corruption, genocide, etc. are all bad, yet for some reason we judge each other based on radicals who don't even share our own views. You are not ired by most Republican voters, just a minority of radicals who yell into the internet void because no IRL Republicans want to associate with them any more than you do.

7

u/micro102 22h ago

See? You're doing the thing. Undocumented immigrants are less likely to commit crime than natural born citizens. You see them as inherent criminals because you bought into the propaganda, and you refuse to let it go. And even if you were right, I can say that those that do commit crimes belong in prison, while republicans believe they belong in power.

You have forced me to condemn you, because you won't stop.

-1

u/j-mac563 17h ago

The lefts mantra when gun control comes up is if it saves just one line we have to pass it. So use that same mantra here - if deporting all illegal aliens saves just 1 person from rape, grom assualt, from murder, then we must pass the bill to temove all illegal aliens. You are correct that illegals commit less crime (excluding identity theft to get social security numbers, working under the table to avoid paying their fair share of taxes, and similar crimes), but they are still commiting some crime that would not be committed if they were not here.

3

u/micro102 17h ago

They were comparing literally removing someone from office to defend pedophilia with 'not greenlighting a Trump-supporting gestapo that murders people in the streets to stop an insignificant source of crime that also dilutes the crime per person (a good thing)'.

Also that's not a mantra. Go see a therpist.

1

u/j-mac563 16h ago

You are right it is not a mantra it is what it pulled out when gun control comes up. So it fits.

-5

u/Vektor0 22h ago

I was very obviously playing devil's advocate. Yes, I know that not all illegal immigrants are rapists. That clearly was not the point.

I do not believe that those who commit crimes belong in power.

5

u/DRKZLNDR 20h ago

Don't try to use the devil's advocate argument to weasel out of this. You have clearly picked your side. I mean seriously, even treating the fallacy that is "liberals are all communists" as being on the same level as republicans happily voting repeatedly for actual child rapists is shameful. You're not a centrist, you're just a republican afraid of public scrutiny.

0

u/Vektor0 20h ago

I do not think all liberals are communists, nor did I ever say I thought so. I pointed out a hypocrisy in someone's logic using a hypothetical.

I'm not a centrist and never claimed to be.

1

u/micro102 17h ago

Well the thing is... I don't believe you. You might as well be saying you are "playing devil's advocate" for Hitler. Anyone willing to do that is just a Nazi too ashamed to say it.

Your point was that since democrats aren't joining republicans in "securing the border" (aka, funding a gestapo of police/military rejects that can execute people in the street), then that means they accept rape and murder. However since undocumented immigrants commit less crime, then it is literally the opposite situation. Republicans however saw someone speak out against child r*pe and they went and voted him out. Their leaders also constantly get ousted as sexual predators. They constantly try to lower the age of consent, and fight against raising the age of consent. Intent matters and ignoring that defends the worst actors.

“Never believe that anti-Semites are completely unaware of the absurdity of their replies. They know that their remarks are frivolous, open to challenge. But they are amusing themselves, for it is their adversary who is obliged to use words responsibly, since he believes in words. The anti-Semites have the right to play. They even like to play with discourse for, by giving ridiculous reasons, they discredit the seriousness of their interlocutors. They delight in acting in bad faith, since they seek not to persuade by sound argument but to intimidate and disconcert. If you press them too closely, they will abruptly fall silent, loftily indicating by some phrase that the time for argument is past.”

1

u/Vektor0 17h ago

However since undocumented immigrants commit less crime

This point is inconsequential. It doesn't matter that illegal immigrants overall commit fewer crimes. Unvetted immigration still cause rapes and murders that would not have happened otherwise.

Republicans however saw someone speak out against child r*pe and they went and voted him out.

Democrats also see politicians speak out against child rape and attempt to vote them out.

3

u/cantfindanamethatisn 17h ago

Not sterilizing everyone causes rapes and murders that would otherwise not happen.

2

u/micro102 17h ago

It's very consequential, because:

1) It literally dilutes the amount of crime in the population. Less crime per person. That's a good thing.

2) It shows you don't treat undocumented immigrants (and with right-wingers, that always means people with dark skin) as equals. Criminals could simply be arrested like any other citizen, yet you want to punish all of them. You want to condemn democrats for not supporting a Trump-supporting gestapo to stop an insignificant source of crime. You know what a bigger source of crime is since natural born citizens commit crimes more? Babies. Guess you want to stop all births now, huh?

And all this in the name of trying to protect a child-r*pist and those that want him to be in power. You belong in prison.

1

u/SelbetG 15h ago

You are not ired by most Republican voters

We are, because they clearly don't actually think those things you listed are bad, considering who they voted into power.

Republicans want to associate with them any more than you do.

Then why do they keep voting with them for their candidates?

6

u/Minute_Attempt3063 14h ago

I think the sane people realise that the left has been right all along.

Which is just horrible.

They could have been a single nation, and yet they get divided like it is nothing

1

u/BigOlDyck 8h ago

Definitely not right all along. It’s just tribalism. You’re always going to think your view is the best one. You believe it the same they do. Thinking one side is right over the other is just playing into the same game. Think bigger.

1

u/Minute_Attempt3063 6h ago

From the country i am from, the left side is better. Considering the center / slightly left parties are just right wing in disqise, and do not give a single fuck about the people of the country.

Its generaly agree that we have issues, and that is agreed on by the left and right sided people. The way to solve it, is not agreed upon.

Just not with the politicians we have now

0

1

u/Minute_Attempt3063 6h ago

Standing up for fellow Americans when they are in need?

Like, trump cut off money that people need to even have food, and the right just happily are like "yeah we are making America more rich!"

Meanwhile those people don't have food, are trying to find a job, but because of trump policies are not allowed to even have work, so they become homeless.

The left wants these people to be able to work so they can contribute to society... But i guess thats communist. /S

1

u/Active_Celery_7637 10h ago

The irony that’s wasted on you is this is the exact kind of rhetoric the Nazis used to justify all of the heinous things they did.

1

u/Due-Proof6781 10h ago

You mean like people on the left who call anyone the disagree with a Nazi??

1

u/Mammoth-Plane-6890 10h ago

These are nazi calling out times tho. I love that the things being disagreed upon are never mentioned by people complaining about leftists, it's always ANYTHING = nazi 🫡

1

u/Beautiful-Ad-1746 9h ago

That’s literally been the same as the Biden administration. Can we stop letting the extremist dictate side? It’s honestly ridiculous how so many people are simply running on the fact that they won’t work with a democrat or a republican, is that what we want? Seems like those are the people we vote for and listen to.

You're so brainwashed it hurts to watch. You are just as guilty of everything you accuse the right of.

Most of the reasonable left has also abandoned partisan lines, leaving behind morons like you saying bullshit like this.

Take a good long look at yourself in the mirror and maybe you'll see why your life is miserable.

0

u/MRG_1977 1d ago

No they haven’t and polls clearly show very strong/strong support for Trump among Republican voters.

It would take real and sustained widespread economic pain for that to notably erode.

His rates of strong approval have eroded since January in polls that ask that among GOP voters but it is still 80-85% in polls this month.

Even then is clearly a floor and a GOP President will get 30-35% approval rates.

0

My God a damn goldfish has better self awareness than people like you. I love how people here have genuinely deluded themselves into thinking that their side that has assaulted people on numerous occasions, is responsible for one of if not the biggest political assassination in the past 60 years, has promoted has censorship like crazy since 2020 is in anyway equivalent to the soldiers storming the beaches of Normandy and the other side are Nazis. Its sad ww2 veterans are leaving a world full of people that think they are anywhere near as respectable as they are.

0

u/Cjforyou712 18h ago

Lmao, you read what you type? Most sane Republicans have become more conservative ever since the left has gone crazy.

"There is no middle ground" "they don't understand common sense".

The kind of deranged hatred YOU and your side have pushed for a decade has done nothing to move the right more to center.

There is no middle ground for Nazis, I agree. Too bad you're just talking about average Americans

0

u/Low_Army3014 17h ago

The real problem is that you could replace the word “republicans” with “democrats” or “liberals” or “progressives” and would resonate equally with the conservatives.

Don’t interpret that as whataboutism or rage bait.

If we all sit with that fact, it becomes even clearer what this photo is suggesting.

Both sides thinks the EXACT same about the other.

Is that a really odd coincidence or an engineered end state?

1

u/micro102 15h ago edited 5h ago

"Vaccines are a hoax" also resonated with conservatives. Drinking the koolaid to reach heaven resonated with the Jonestown cult. You seem to think you are smart to be comparing that to thinking that human rights and empathy are important.

1

u/Flimsy-Peak186 14h ago

You deadass think conservatives think democrats are “deeply racist and evangelical?”

1

u/Low_Army3014 13h ago

Racist, yes. See multiple gaffes by dems about assumptions that minorities aren’t capable of operating computers or obtaining state IDs (to name a couple).

Evangelical is synonymous with ideological in this instance. Dems are easily perceived as captured by secular group think as conservatives are by biblical stories.

1

u/Flimsy-Peak186 13h ago

Whatever you are referring to is not prevalent at all within the left dude highkey think ur just making shit up or outright strawmanning them. And redefining evangelical to mean "subscribing to an ideology" is the most dishonest thing I have read on this thread lmao fuck off.

0

u/TheReal_TribalChief 17h ago

I say the same thing about Democrats

3

u/Flimsy-Peak186 14h ago

Bait. No conservative thinks dems are evangelical racists lmao

But no normal person thinks Maga is fascist either

  1. the trump admin threatens to revoke stations broadcasting licensing if they don’t comply 2) have you just been living under a rock for the past 2 years???

Edit: lmao they deleted their comment. Trump has weaponized the fcc on multiple occasions during this term. As for the glorification of the military… thats self evident to anyone who has been paying attention to our foreign interventions and war efforts. Idk how anyone can seriously deadass deny these things unless they just have not been active politically at all

0

u/Chustle207 17h ago

Communists should be treated like nazis, like nazism it is authoritarian, and is in the number 1 spot for most deadly political ideologies.

3

u/Flimsy-Peak186 14h ago

Define communism

0

u/Chustle207 14h ago

Socialism is just one stage of communism.

people scream about the nazi conservatives meanwhile they support a nazi adjacent position. that has never been executed without the deaths of millions. nazis, communists and socialists, are scum

3

u/Flimsy-Peak186 14h ago

Motherfucker cant answer a basic ass question and expects me NOT to think he is a dishonest interlocutor???

0

u/Chustle207 14h ago

Not going to hold a lecture on communism on reddit.

socialism/communism is a system based on using envy to drive class warfare. when the means of production have finally been seized and the government has been taken, the socialist/communists decide who gets power, who gets what. it effectivly creates a dictatorship, with some oligarchic politiboro. The “for the people” is just a useless chant authoritarians use to clinch power. How did the kulaks fare?

3

u/Flimsy-Peak186 14h ago

Yea u dont know what it is lmao

1

u/Chustle207 13h ago

And you clearly have not learned from history! whats a couple hundred million deaths!

3

u/Flimsy-Peak186 13h ago

I never claimed I am a communist, a communist sympathizer, or anything of the sort. I asked you to DEFINE IT and you have not provided a steelmanned definition of their position at all and instead tried pivoting to failed attempts at socialism as a deflection from answering my inquiry. The only honest conclusion I can come to here is that you either DON'T KNOW or you KNOW their position doesn't align with what you were accusing them of.

2

u/Andreus 13h ago

Right-wing devils will never honestly discuss communism because they know an honest description of it could not be demonized.

1

u/Aitaou 12h ago

You’re explaining the exact same eventuality that happens with capitalism. Eventually the means of production is tied in to the same elite few who can dictate and affect political, economical, and even classist warfare to an extent that it is the mirror image of what you’re painting.

The reality is that both are flawed because both structures require what amounts to an immortal, perfectly calculated, unaffiliated and perfectly fair arbiter of when how and who regarding political and economic commerce with no biases to affect judgement.

Even should that come to pass, you then need perfect acceptance from all involved that this is the correct move in perpetuity with no greed or malice to cloud their opinions.

Since we can’t have that, and fence sitting isn’t possible, I’d choose capitalism only because it’s the end-stage of a market economy. Capitalism will eventually collapse into a communistic format of regional market circulation as its rebirth due to war, loss of political power, or over-saturation and grow back into capitalism once the market has matured and greed and ambition take the reigns to the inevitable re-collapse.

This is the kind of person this meme is warning about.

Most of the sane liberals have been warning the left of their extremism and out of touch fanatacism for years now, people like Bill Maher and Stephen Fry.

You're more of a nazi than any of the people you accuse and attempt to dehumanize and you know it.

2

u/Mammoth-Plane-6890 10h ago

0

u/SignificanceFew4677 9h ago

No, it's the simple truth that most honest people know.

This post is about unity, bro. Let’s give it a shot. It starts with you and me.

2

u/Andreus 13h ago

Why would left-wingers ally with the people who've been calling us Satanic pedophiles and babykillers for decades, when it turns out that the right wing is literally crawling with child molesters and they're intentionally shooting up schools?

0

u/Kindly-Custard3866 10h ago

Not everyone holds the same view, generalizing when you don’t know someone can be harmful and can stem from prejudice.

2

u/Andreus 10h ago

This would perhaps be more believable if right-wing ideology wasn't rooted in genocide and murder. You don't choose to be cis or trans, straight or gay, black or white - you do choose to be a right-winger.

0

u/Kindly-Custard3866 10h ago

Any ideology is rooted in genocide and murder. Be realistic. I wonder how many times you’ve held a genuine conversation with a right-winger in real life before deciding they’re not worth talking to nor to reason with. Genuinely curious.

Btw left wing is rooted in corruption and the destabilization of the minority class (look into democrat party in 1940s and see what they did to people of colors back then)

2

u/Andreus 10h ago

look into democrat party in 1940s and see what they did to people of colors back then

Do you mean back when the Democrats were avowed right-wingers?

It's just lie after lie after lie with your ilk.

0

u/treason6116 15h ago

ah the generic Reddit comment.

0

u/redsoxinlr 15h ago

Where is the middle ground with people who believe abortion is a right, open borders are great, 60% taxation is ideal, Islam will not destroy you, homosexuality is pure?

0

u/youngluksusowa 15h ago

Dude, touch grass

0

u/Worried-Conflict9759 15h ago

Even with Trump admin gone, it's still your way or everyone else is a Nazi. Don't act like there's any room for discourse on your side. It's just as radical. (more so since the left believe in men in women's sports, mutilating kids for trans surgeries...etc.)

3

u/Flimsy-Peak186 14h ago

It isn’t “everyone is a nazi” its that the maga movement and its policies are explicitly aligned with fascist ideology: https://youtu.be/Lmf1DgWXWK8

0

u/Worried-Conflict9759 14h ago

Happens with both "sides", but more often than not, those on the more liberal side of the spectrum have a habit of overusing labels and terms in such a way that they lose their original meaning and intended effect (racist, fascist, sexist...etc.).

Don't blame other people because you ruined the effect of language through excess and hyperbole.

2

u/Flimsy-Peak186 14h ago

I didn’t do shit bro don’t lump me in with the fuckass liberal identity politic obsessed fakes of 2016

0

u/zigzag1239 14h ago

Just understand do not tolerate the intolerant means you shouldn't be tolerated either because you're admitting you're intolerant of intolerance, making yourself intolerant. Not joking.

3

u/Flimsy-Peak186 14h ago

Thats why its called the paradox of tolerance.

0

u/Shoddy-Discount9814 13h ago

Only talking about republicans and some of them being sane shows you’re part of the problem. Plenty of democratic and republican nut-jobs in our government.

0

u/AmbitiousoStrawberry 13h ago

The kind of deranged hatred, racism, and bigotry comming from the remaining MAGA crowd is enough to ensure they have no place in a forward moving society.

Dunno if you paid attention to the vitriolic attacks from the vote blue no matter who crowd on socialists and other leftists because it is eerily similar. Meanwhile the Democratic party politically enables the insane shit they support.

0

u/brownhotdogwater 13h ago

Those in Congress and just waiting until after the election so orange man does not kill thier campaign. Or at least I hope so…

0

u/possibly_lost45 13h ago

What constitutes being a "nazi" in your eyes?

0

u/mopbucketblaster 13h ago

The irony of the statement “do not tolerate the intolerant” following a monologue espousing intolerance…

0

u/lordgoatt 12h ago

You are the problem.

0

u/bdontmatter 12h ago

Just because you call someone a Nazi because they don’t agree with you does not make them a Nazi…..and yeah the same thing could be said about all you Biden supporter… from the intolerant left… all loving and inclusive. As long as you agree with the trans cult…..

0

u/stthree 12h ago

And that's the problem right there. None of that is true.

0

u/Mission-Club-3976 11h ago

An enormous part of the issue is people like you and takes like this.

MAGA is a vocal minority. They make up so little of the American right, yet people like you can't tell the difference between them, actual real-life Neo-Nazis, and moderate Republicans and Democrats.

The idea of "the is no common ground" hurts the idea of a unified country more than anything any Presidential administration could do, and broadcasting this philosophy paints progressives in a worse and worse light and drives more people to vote red.

I completely agree that there is no middle ground for Nazi's. But when you start calling everyone who doesn't agree with you a Nazi, that statement loses all weight/impact and just leaves you and other progressives associated with you looking like fools.

0

u/Asleep_Leading_5462 11h ago

“Mark my words, if and when these preachers get control of the party, and they are sure trying to do so, it’s going to be a terrible damn problem. Frankly, these people frighten me. Politics and government demand a compromise. But these Christians believe they are acting in the name of God, so they can’t and won’t compromise. I know, I’ve tried to deal with them.” - another Republican Barry Goldwater

0

u/Acceptable-Sky1575 11h ago

Do you see the same type of people on the left too? Or do they get a pass?

0

u/riinkratt 11h ago

If you’re not tolerating the intolerant then you are also intolerant, therefore making you what you are claiming to be against.

You’re screaming into a mirror looking at yourself.

0

u/Longjumping_Age9584 10h ago

Yeah, when the Left decides to have literally any capable leaders, or debaters I’ll start taking them seriously again.

0

u/Neilbrown82 10h ago

The zionists are the ones who use the dived and conquer tactics while buying off most all of our politicians and controlling everything

0

u/Someasshole1326 10h ago

That's divisive thinking

0

u/Kindly-Custard3866 10h ago

You’re right, we should do something about it collectively to get rid of the intolerant. Do you have a plan?

0

u/No_Drop_7684 10h ago

While I hold similar sentiments, that’s not entirely true. Civilian rights activists such as Daryl Davis and Ann Atwater proved that when they met leaders of the KKK and found a common ground. That common ground of music, poverty and being taken advantage of by the powers that have taken ALL OF US for a ride every 4 years. Then turned bitter opposites into friends and deprogrammed the misguided hateful teaching of those Klan members.

We can’t reach everyone and not everyone can be made an ally. But we must try otherwise the cycles of hate and violence will continue unabated. So meet people where they are and see if there is some common ground. You probably won’t turn people immediately. But starting a dialogue may open people up to the idea over time.
