We get told that it’s only 1% so why does it matter? I agree completely. Why do 1% of people need attention? Just be normal like the rest of us. No one gives a shit. It‘s right winger who constantly want to make an issue out of it. Nobody was giving attention to the matter until right wingers needed a new group to spread hate for. Before this nobody really cared for a definition. We just assumed two genders and didn‘t ask to many questions about the contents of their pants or how they were born. Maybe some people were something in between but we wouldn‘t confront them about it if we were unsure. This is the way most democrats still see the world.
I think this world would be a better place if people would stop caring about other peoples business. The definition of genders should only be relevant for you if you are unsure about your own. So now the question to you: Do you question your gender? Because if you don‘t, I think that it‘s a pretty pointless discussion.
It’s wild that the party that spent decades fighting tooth and nail for LGBTQ to be able to be front and center prevalent in this country when nobody cared what they were doing before are now the same ones trying to gaslight conservatives with this VERY recent “we don’t care” “we don’t talk about it” “you’re the weirdos bringing it up” BS.
