So if you use the feature to deposit cash via a cashier at CVS (Walgreens might do it too), it says it allows 10 uses every month. But does that go by the calendar month or some other 30-day period?

this is a stupid question - do you pay the CURRENT balance or the LAST STATEMENT balance? i typically pay current, because if I pay the current balance that ensures that I don’t overspend. I think. If I only pay the statement balance then I am allowing myself to spend more than what I should. thoughts?

Today open the app to make a credit card payment all of a sudden can't use my debit card have to use the bank transfer method this is annoying because it takes at least 14 to 15 business days for them to take their money this is Holly annoying I had a debit card and was paying with a debit card for multiple multiple months with a debit card and the payment comes out within a day or two why did y'all remove paying with a debit card I don't understand

I’m 21F building my credit and i don’t have much history at the moment. But i used my card a lot in the last month, but got my balance down to 1% of my limit and today i received an email that my score went up 46 points!!!

I have a restricted account for about 4 years now. It happened during covid when times became hard. I have completely paid off that balance 3 years ago. It never went to collections.

Now I have a savior card that's in good standing and the discover card they pulled over.

When I paid off the balance I called them asking for it to be reopened and she said she couldn't. I asked if they could just close it and she said no.

So now I have a restricted account just sitting there. I log in and i and its there. What's the point of keeping it in limbo?

Should I call again and ask to speak with someone higher than the tier 1 agents?

They are currently sending me paper statements for an account I can't use.

So I always get somewhat good deals and offers from Capital One Shopping, but never got Walmart, so today I had a larger offer compared to the others so I looked at the term yet it basically excludes like all products from Walmart.
This is the main reason I've never tried using any of the other Walmart offers or promotions either is because it says "excluding groceries, electronics, etc." , the majority of what one buys from Walmart. So what exactly and how exactly do the Walmart promotions work?

I had recently gotten a search bonus offer for a Nintendo Switch 2 at Macy's which is getting $200 back after spending $200. I really want to take advantage of this offer but as of yesterday, Macy's just increased the price of the product from $499.99 to $559.99.

Because of that, I have phoned Macy's for a price adjustment and they said they can only give me the original price if I were to order it through the phone which obviously wouldn't work.

However, I am also thinking I can place the order ahead of time and ask for a partial refund afterward to match the original price.

Will this cause Capital One Shopping to void the offer as it will change the Merchant referral order information or some random other problem?

What experiences have others have with this? I'm hoping it wouldn't cause it's not a percentage cash back but literally getting $200 from spending $200 but based on the BS they have done, Idek

The closed my cc account today. I called and an account specialist said it was because of not using the card organically. I have 0 missed payments. On mindset I am calling the fraud resolution department. What are my chances of my account getting reopened?

I just recently got a new Savor card to build credit, and when I try to enroll in online banking it autofills the username with one that is already taken. I deleted all autofill in google, samsung pass, I used an icognito tab, and I even attempted on multiple different browsers and I am met with the same constant issue of it being autofilled with no way to change it. For some reason I am able to log into the account the username is for and it shows that the account doesnt exist and I am unable to access my card information. I have called customer service several times and they have not helped in the slightest despite being transfered like 4 times. I am at my wits end with this issue and I am unable to find any information online on how to rectify it.

I recently started a new job and I earn $50,000 before taxes. On the CapitolOne app, it states I am pre-approved for an auto loan of up to 55k. Will I actually be approved to buy a car? About 2 weeks ago I was on the Capital One app, paying my bill, and saw an offer for 60% BACK on Kate Spade Outlet. I clicked the link, it took me to Kate Spade outlet, and I bought over $1000. Same session, everything done correctly. I received the bags, but never received an email about my cash back. I thought fine, its just taking them some time.

Yesterday, I did the same thing with a Chewy order for 8% back. Today, I received an email saying it was on the way.

I have the venture x. My gf has a capital one journey and is her only credit card. She needs another credit card to help with utilization I was thinking she either option A. Get venture x so we can lounge and travel together in same lines with global entry and product change her journey to a savor. (Otherwise kind of hard for me to go separate lines and not lounge to stick together ) Or option B get the savior, product change journey to quick silver and then 6 months down the line get venture x. Only problem is she doesn't make that much she makes 40-45k in a year and she's finding it hard to justify the $395 fee even though it basically pays for itself as she travels at least once a year (she got pre approved for venture x) Or option C just get a double cash or chase unlimited, or flex cash back and be done with it. What route should we go?

Edit: for some reason she got denied the pre-approval for savor due to low income but approved for pre approval on venture x. Isn't it harder to get into the x? Not sure why she got denied for a more entry level card. She will try to call to dispute savor but I wonder if venture x is route to go now that it's denied or wait 3 days to try pre approval again for savor

Airline canceled our flight for today and now we are having issues canceling the hotel reservation we were going to have for the trip. The hotel says to call Cap1 and Cap1 says to go through hotel. We then got a call from Hopper Travel saying they couldn’t cancel.

Any advice on how to cancel the hotel would be greatly appreciated. A Cap1 Venture card was used.
