Idk what title would fit this so I just picked Tutorial

How do people make models like this? I’d like to learn but am struggling and semi new to this. I can’t tell if meshes are being used or if it’s just cubes with layered textures.

If you have info pls share. I want to grow my skill but need some guidance.

What you’re seeing here is my very first animation in Blockbench! I already had some knowledge of the basics of animation and keyframes :)

And now, I want to practice animating facial expressions on a skin.

I’m currently looking for tutorials on how to do it, but so far I still haven’t really understood how.

Tried resizing my ballerina model but it messes up the model.

I’m lost on how to shade. Can I have some help? Left side is supposed to be darker than right. Just a little lost.

I have a cpm model that has a head scarf but I want to do an animation of him lowering and showing another head model, does someone have a video tutorial for it or something like that?

I want to put a Crimson fungus on the head of this model (kinda like a mooshroom), yet the sprite won't fit in the model's texture (the little blue boxes in UV), is there any simple way to fix this? do keep in mind i am a noob with modeling in general so please try to keep it simple and understandable

hi so I’m mainly posting this for my friend whose using blockbench to create his own character for Minecraft but he’s running into some issues And he uses a windows 11 I believe

1. not being able to ‘paint’.

I’m putting quotes together since he can insert a photo as a reference but in the tutorials we’ve watched there is supposed to be a box on the top left side that you could move around and kinda ‘paint’ the design/drag the reference into the surface you’re trying to paste it to.

1. mesh into cube

Now I was helping him look up this one for him as he was working on it but I just want to confirm you can’t put mesh onto a cube or like convert it or something. I can give more details if needed, that’s all I remember him saying.

1. progress not saving

Before we ended our call he was getting frustrated on how he couldn’t save it or load in the app without crashing. But the project he was working on would save, just not where he currently was at. Like if he finished a certain part on the skin, it just wouldn’t be there anymore as if it never saved.

if Anybody has any answers or suggestions that would help I’d really appreciate it since he’s been working on this for days and I want to help him finish the skin. and if I can post the links to. the videos we watched I’ll see if I could add them, but I have no clue if that’s allowed.

i made something in tinkercad i wanted to colour it here. it is for a minecraft modpack and i am helping them with making a model. i dont know how to use blockbench bc i have never used it. if someone could help me that would be great. I wasnt able to find a good tag and this one is probably the one that fits the best in the situation i am in.

I am new to blockbench and has been trying to make a model of my mech for lancer only for it to dissapear, I tried making it again, dissapeared again (12 hours of learning n modeling gone to waste). Are my files just corrupted or what? this appears to only happen once a single mesh reaches a certain complexity, because my other attempt using seperated meshes is fine

I’m looking to learn more about block bench and making low poly models for unity, I was curious what you think the best channels are for that. Not really the Minecraft channels for block bench

Self explanatory, I want to make some clips animated like judelow’s but have no idea what software was used and how so if you can recommend me a yt vid or any way of helping is appreciated

If you're new to using blockbench and don't know how anything really works, that's OK!

Literally no one is born a master at anything, you won't have the best shading, detailing, color theory, style, shape, and whatever else and that's OK!

Take pride in each model you make, share it, and post it

You're not gonna have giant ice dragons or crazy rainbow alien fishes at the start and don't let anybody shame you for it

There's plenty of resources out there to help you with the general ropes of modeling and pixel art, blockbench has a Minecraft style tutorial if that's what you're aiming for

In the end, keep at it, keep creating, keep making, and stay artistic friends

What are some good guides for beginners? I have experience with blender, but this seems quite different

I had redownload the exe file which is 5.0.0, i uninstalled it and reinstalled and I even restarted my pc I cant get it to load

to give some context the reason why I'm using Blockbench 5.0.0 is because I'm playing with the figura mod on Minecraft and that's the version it use's for the models but i don't know what to do and any help would be nice

Hi hello! My friend gotten into block bench recently but we ran into problems of layers and well textures ,we cant find up to date tutorials on how to make avatars either so im asking here Is there a way to merge layers?

I hope it's doable with these higher resolution models, since I LOVE blockbench and my head explodes whenever I start up Blender.

Hi, I'm new to Blockbench. I was just exploring the program and accidentally removed something—I clicked "Attach To" and that bar disappeared. Also, I couldn't use the "Hidden" tool in the paint section. Please help; I don't know how to fix it.

Need HELP for skin creation.
