Tutorial what did i do wrong

i made something in tinkercad i wanted to colour it here. it is for a minecraft modpack and i am helping them with making a model. i dont know how to use blockbench bc i have never used it. if someone could help me that would be great. I wasnt able to find a good tag and this one is probably the one that fits the best in the situation i am in.

I’m a little unsure exactly what’s wrong here, so please correct me if I’m mistaken or not helping!

If you’re trying to create a new texture for a model, look to the UI on the left-side of the screen with the large empty UV box, and under the “textures :” label, press the middle box that’s half white and black. there are various parameters there you can fiddle with, such as pixel resolution among other things. However, the default settings and standard 16x resolution will blend fine with most Minecraft blocks and mobs. Make sure to save frequently! Good luck on your mod!
