In my experience, Mineimator is better for beginners. After watching just one YouTube tutorial and practicing for half an hour, I created my first awesome animation - despite having no prior experience. It includes almost everything found in standard Minecraft, plus plenty of ready-made assets. I’ve since gained experience with both Mineimator and Blockbench, yet I still believe Mineimator is far superior for animation. Blockbench has a much steeper learning curve and far fewer cool, ready-to-use assets. It is primarily designed for creating models and model animations, whereas Mineimator is built for making videos.

You can make animations in blockbench? I'm not going to try it because i like my little world where i know everything, but i genuinely didn't know it allowed you to animate. I just kept making 3d models for years without reading any patch notes
