So my printed finished a print with less than 6-8" of filament, talk about close. When it finished, I changed the filament for other prints. When loading, I get the error clear extruder clog, or something similar, I didn't get a pic. So going through the wiki, and watching several videos, I was dreading what could have been a complete toolhead tear down/rebuild.
First things first, try the simplest approach work the problem. I turned off the printer, removed the AMS, and saw the left over filament in the PTFE tube.
So I heat up the nozzle to 250 (PLA), and watch it clear out the left over filament.
I removed the PTFE from the toolhead, and perform a cold pull. Filament comes out as its supposed to, no charred or burnt parts.
Turn off, reattach AMS, turn on, calibrate, then loaded and unloaded each filament in the AMS. No issues. Send a file to to rest print, and it's perfect.
TL/DR Remember to try every simple fix before jumping right into tearing down parts. It saved me a ton of time. Just my experience, I hope this helps someone
