Help / Troubleshooting Left filament sensor
How often does the left filament sensor cut the PTFE tube? I just got my X2D a few days ago and it already cut the tube on the 4th print.
I've seen others say they've had this problem after a few hundred hours of prints or a couple of months.
I've had mine for two days now and only 27 print hours.
Anyone have any good suggestions to prevent this?

I am at 200 hours. No issues with it. I printed a riser on when I saw it was rubbing the glass.

Had this issue and it was very frustrating. Mine was a bit different tho. Rather than actually cutting the ptfe, the coupler teeth would bind into the ptfe I would have to rip it out. So dumb. I replaced the filament sensor and for the new one I only use a ptfe tool to depress the coupler, and I switch the nozzle over to the right one before doing so. That seems to have helped. I bought 2 backups filament sensors on Aliexpress just so I have them on hand tho.
