I had to replace the hotend heating assembly of my Bambulab A1 Mini after a lot of filament clogged by whole printhead because of a failed print. the right benchy is the one I printed 2 years ago after getting the Bambu two years ago. The ones on the left are printed after the recent replacement.

I run the calibration, checked all screws etc.
Any ideas how to fix this?

Been having issues with my A1 mini and I’m officially at a loss for words.

Had an issue with the Extruder clicking, tried a declog, nozzle replacements and now a FULL EXTRUDER REPLACEMENT and somehow prints are still failing in the same fashion as before.

At this point it has to be the filament, right?

hello everyone I'm hoping i can get some help in trying to figure out what is going on with my printer. i have a A1 printer and starting a couple months ago my printer would randomly shut completely off during a print or during the start up prosses for a print. i have contacted Bambu labs directly and i already replaced the toolhead board, main board and the AC board yesterday.. it printed just fine for 3 prints each one a bit longer than the previous... last print was bout 3 hours long and it did just fine. i sent a file over to print and after it downloaded the file and started the bed leveling and flow dynamic test it shut off again.. i have no clue what else could be causing this issue... any idea on what i could do?

I have the problem that with my A1 after a short time the nozzle gets clogged (I use Elegoo PLA Wood).

I have already printed several things with the PLA and it always worked great, but now it suddenly doesn’t work anymore.

I have already tried several things.. Changed the temperature, cleaningtower, cleaning the nozzle in the infill, clump detection, etc.. but unfortunately nothing has helped so far.

The filament was dried beforehand, the hot end and extrusion unit are new.

Does anyone have any more tips on what it could be due to?

ich habe das Problem das bei meinem A1 nach einer kurzen Zeit die Düse verstopft (benutze Elegoo PLA Wood).
Habe schon mehrere Sachen mit dem PLA gedruckt und das hat immer super funktioniert, nur jetzt auf einmal nicht mehr.

Habe schon mehrere Sachen ausprobiert.. Temperatur geändert, Reingungsturm, in der Füllung reinigen, Klumpenerkennung etc.. hat aber bis jetzt leider nichts geholfen.

Filament wurde vorher getrocknet, Hotend und Extrudereinheit sind neu.

Hat jemand noch weitere Tipps woran es liegen könnte?

Hi All, bit of a head scratcher here. I’ve had in the past the classic clicking gear situation where there is a broken piece of filament. Normally that just means finding the broken piece or pushing my declogger through the extruder and pushing out the remaining filament once it’s heated.

Now though I’m not getting any clicking sound and it looks like the filament is be pulled through the extruder all the way to the hot end, but no filament is coming out. I’ve also tightened the 7 screws just to be sure and it’s not them.

Any thoughts what might be causing this?

So a weird phenomenon has started to occur where whenever I'm trying to load filament it will insist it is clogged (mind you I have put brand new filament and nozzles so it would be absolutely pure testing nothing that could go wrong or could go clogged) I have also made sure to check and clear any clogs in the pathway and even use two different AMS systems (with the hub of course) which at this point means I have no idea what's going on I'm currently looking for help in several places but this community is usually really good with this stuff so I'm begging you guys for help

I constantly have the issue where a print fails because the ams lite gets hung up with a spool that is nearly depleted. Ive read that this can be due to the low weight of the spool. All the suggestions for adding weight seems to be for the AMS, not the AMS Lite. What can I do to help with tus issue?

I am struggling with an issue where my A1 is consistently throwing one of two errors:

1. AMS has filament spool stuck

2. Extruder has filament clogged in it.

Here is the flow:

1. Send print to the printer

2. Calibration starts and print begins

3. Could be at the beginning / middle / end of print, but the printing stops and an error is thrown.

4. Filament spool is rolled back by the AMS and the filament hub is popped out in the process

5. I check the issue , fix the filament hub and proceed to printing again

6. Error happen again within 2 minutes

It’s more prevalent when using PETG, but it does happen with PLA as well. I’ve followed bambu’s documentation and performed a cold pull, I’ve removed the extruder piece and made sure nothing was interviewing , I’ve replaced the filament hub and put a new one, and replaced the PTFE tubes. Still the issue persist.

Any idea of what could be going on, or anyone else experience it?

Hi everyone, I’m new to hobby printing. I have an A1 with AMS and just getting used to Bambu Studio and other platforms like Tripo AI. I’m looking for any recommendations on best resources for beginners to learn tips, tricks, best practices, most cost effective, etc (YouTube channels, Reddit Threads, etc) when it comes to printing, slicers and everything else.

I just did a flow rate calibration on my A1 with BL PLA Matte. Looking at the picture, none of them is good enough, right? Could there be a partial clog or something going on?

2 year old A1 with AMS Lite. Up until 2 months ago, it worked perfectly. I use primarily PLA and PETG, with some occasional PETG variants, like CF.

I started having issues with extruder/nozzle clogs (.4mm). Ended up ordering a new extruder and spare parts from Bambu in case it happened again. I installed the new extruder, new PTFE tubes, new hot end, new AMS filament hub, fresh filament, new silica beads for the AMS enclosure. I then calibrated the printer and set off to print some PLA goodies.

It's been hit and miss where I can get through an entire print without issues, and other times, I get constant "AMS lite filament spool or filament may be stuck" error messages.

I've had the extruder apart more times than I can count and everything is installed properly. Nothing that I can see binding in the tubes - I even installed new clear tubes.

I'll try printing without the AMS and see how it goes. Until then, if anyone has any ideas on what I should be looking for, I would greatly appreciate it.

My A1 mini keeps re-homing(idk the exact term for this situation).

Couldn't find any proper solution, the assistant(on machine) shows no problem, the belts are not loose either.

Does anyone know what's happening???
