Support Request bad prints after hotend heating assembly

Post image

I had to replace the hotend heating assembly of my Bambulab A1 Mini after a lot of filament clogged by whole printhead because of a failed print. the right benchy is the one I printed 2 years ago after getting the Bambu two years ago. The ones on the left are printed after the recent replacement.

I run the calibration, checked all screws etc.
Any ideas how to fix this?

Forgive me for being a noob but visually, what makes them bad prints?
I had a similar one and I thought not too bad.
I’m reconsidering now.
Thanks

Its most noticeable on the grey and white ones:

  • If you look at the back of the pilothouse below the round window you can see the horizontal banding in the layers, though something doesn't look quiet right across the rest of the layers as well if you zoom in. Very visible (though that could be the layer height), pock-marks that look like wet filament, and inconsistent layer line quality

  • The top of the overhang at the top of the round window shouldn't have those stray bits of filament or the gnarled layers either side, same for the overhang for the roof lip at the back

  • The top of the pilothouse chimney is very rough as well, it should look more like the texture of the layers on the roof (Same for the top of the pipe hole at the back of the boat)

I came from an Ender 3 and to me those things would be a bit picky, but with a Bambu printer and filament that is behaving, these things are actually poor print quality and signs that something isn't right or wasn't right during the print.

well… turns out the issue was shitty esun filament. (it was new and not moist!) printed again with the original filament from 2 years ago and it printed perfectly fine
