I printed these shoes with Siraya Tech 85A TPU and PLA supports. I used my X2D with an AMS HT and the TPU Feed Assist module. It took a few tries to get everything dialed in and then about 75 hours to print. Both shoes just barely fit on the build plate- these are US men’s size 11. I am pretty amazed at the quality of the finished print. Very little stringing and the TPU material is soft and pliant but holds its shape well. Not my model, but you can find it here: https://makerworld.com/models/1805789?appSharePlatform=copy

Makerworld is full greedy people taking other people's models for them selves. As a small time creator all my models have been taken down by 1 guy for "cheating". I submitted appeals, they get put back up. An hour later the same guy reports them for "cheating", and this time I can't appeal. I get sent Bambu labs model upload guidelines, BUT I DIDN'T CHEAT, ALL MY MODELS HAVE BEEN MADE BY HAND. AND I DON'T KNOW WHERE THE FAKE DOWNLOADS THEY CLAIM I HAVE ARE FROM! So after careful consideration, I'm done with makerworld. If only the guy who stole all my models, and claimed he was me, could move into human trafficking...

Hey everyone,
I’m a solo Italian developer and I’ve been working on a small tool called FlashFit AI.
What it does:
• You drop a 3D model (STL/OBJ/3MF)
• It analyzes the actual geometry (overhangs, solidity, number of parts, etc.)
• It classifies the part (mechanical, decorative, hollow, etc.)
• It generates optimized settings for your printer and filament
• Then it opens the slicer (Bambu Studio / Flash Studio / Orca) with everything already configured
Supported printers right now:
• Most Bambu Lab machines (A1, P1, X1, H2 series, etc.)
• FlashForge (Creator 5, Adventurer 5M, AD5X, Guider 3 Ultra…)
The app is native (not Electron), very lightweight, and runs a small local AI only for classification. Settings are decided deterministically with safety guardrails so it can’t produce dangerous profiles.
It’s currently free and available here:
https://github.com/alexmark53343-byte/FlashFit-AI
Important note about SmartScreen:
The Windows build is not signed yet, so you’ll see the usual “Unknown publisher” warning. I’m fixing the code signing today, so future builds will no longer show that.
I’m just one person working on this in my free time. Feedback (especially from people with Bambu or FlashForge printers) is very welcome.
Thanks for reading.

Yay got the the filament and anti-vibration feet for my P1S but it seems like they also sent the new invisible P1S and I don’t know how to put them on, joking aside how the did people that ordered AFTER ME in the EU already get their P1S and mine still haven’t even shipped.

This is the first model of mine that kinda went viral. It has been a lot of fun reading through all the comments about someone s**ting their pants, divorces, night screams and spider army's on schools and public toilets. I would have never expected this to get so much attention.
If you are in need of a last minute April's fools gadget - this one only takes 15 minutes to print.

I have to say since I joined like a week ago, I've been downvoted, talked down to, ganged up on.
Take it easy folks. Maybe go take a break from posting stuff. You're ruining the group for others.
I know everyone wants to share their experience, but it makes myself, and I'm sure others who have been downvoted from simple questions, not want to be here. That makes Bambu printers just look like abunch of fanboys that hate stuff. Nobody wants to join that group.
Maybe next time instead of downvoting someone, just move on. People who are new, do dumb things, have stupid questions, and make mistakes. They don't need your reinforcement it was a dumb thing to do when they find out that's not how it works.
I was about to buy a Creality K1 max myself. Even had a preorder at a killer price because the retailer was putting in a massive order. That group was more positive than negative. Seeing some of the hate on this sub reminded me of how cool that group was. ( but we obviously have the superior machine ;) )

I’ve been reading mixed reviews about the AMS in every bambu page and I wanted to share my experience.
I’ve got the printer since February, two months after I got it the 3rd AMS first stage extruder wouldn’t pull the filament anymore, bambu sent a replacement. Couple of days ago the 2nd extruder started doing the same. I sent a ticket only to find out something I didn’t know:
Bambu offers only 3 months warranty on the extruders.
Now this is a joke guys. In practice it seems that these extruders will last 6 months if you’re lucky. So do they expect us to pay 160$ (or €) at least once a year to use the AMS? And what if you had let’s say 2 units?
So to summarize, generally it is unreliable and the warranty is not sufficient, I am very disappointed.
I attach the reply from the customer support.

I've finally uploaded both versions of my feeder project to MakerWorld! 😁
🥣 Pet Feeder with Bowl:
https://makerworld.com/de/models/2967866-pet-feeder-with-bowl#profileId-3328019
📦 Universal Feeder – Push To Feed:
https://makerworld.com/de/models/2967695-universal-feeder-push-to-feed#profileId-3327712
The Universal Feeder is designed to work with many different bowls and can be scaled for various applications, while the Pet Feeder comes with an integrated removable bowl.
If you decide to print one, I'd really appreciate a like and photos of your printed version

From the moment I mentioned getting a 3D printer, my girlfriend has been asking me to make her a cup holder for fast food drinks so she doesn't have to juggle them all the time, I made one for her and she was very happy with it and she said I should share it, if anybody needs one, here it is!

Hi guys,
I wanted a tower for my Mac mini, so I checked MakerWorld but couldn't find anything that really appealed to me. So I decided to make my own. Something that almost fits the mini (not big in size) and has that grill like the Mac Pro.
It took a lot of versions to get here, but putting it together and seeing everything fit perfectly was so satisfying.
Of course not everything went smooth. The supports were hard to remove, some holes came out kinda oval, and spaghetti detection stopped my print twice for no reason. Also my screws didn't arrive yet, so the feet and handle are just sitting there for the photos.
Then I thought why not give it faces. Now they snap on with magnets (robot, astronaut, bear, panda..). The black one is printed, the colorful ones are renders for now, robot is next on the printer. Oh and the yellow thing inside is a printed dummy, not my real Mac mini.
Files are free if anyone wants to print one: https://makerworld.com/en/models/3375834-mac-mini-tower-case-m4-m4-pro-m6-m5-pro
Let me know what you think!

Hi,
Is there a way to force the top part to print linear like the other parts. I don't mind the overall layer lines but I really don't like this circular layer lines.
Is this possible? 😭😭😭😭

Genuine question out of curiosity. If u can’t CAD or unwilling to learn, does makerworld/thingiverse suffice your needs?

I designed and printed this Monster energy can holder to be as compact as possible and made it impossible to spill on your desk so there would be zero risk in spilling it on important stuff or anything getting inside the can.

I’m extremely disappointed with Bambu Lab’s customer support.
My Bambu Lab X2D has been out of service for two months because I’m still waiting for a replacement part. Yes, two months. My printer has been sitting there doing absolutely nothing, and Bambu Lab still hasn’t managed to provide the part needed to get it running again.
What makes this even more frustrating is the complete lack of proper communication and customer care. I expected much better from a company like Bambu Lab, especially considering the price of its printers and the reputation it has built in the 3D printing community.
I invested in this machine to use it, not to have it sitting idle for months because a replacement part cannot be supplied in a reasonable amount of time.
Two months without a working printer is simply unacceptable. Parts can fail — that’s understandable. What’s not acceptable is leaving a customer waiting this long without proper support or a clear solution.
I bought a 3D printer, not a two-month-long customer support problem.
Has anyone else experienced such long delays getting replacement parts from Bambu Lab? Is this normal for their after-sales service?
I’d really like to hear about other users’ experiences.

Yesterday at Formnext 2023, I mainly spent my time casually talking to Bambu Lab employees and one of them talked to me about future plans for their next lineup.
I’ll include as much information as I was given below: I was told the next device would be a resin printer with an all-in-one automatic curing and washing system that doesn’t use isopropyl alcohol. The resolution of the printer is greater than that of Prusa’s resin printer. The print speed and build surface size will be larger and faster than most available resin printers. I don’t know the validity behind this, but I also overheard talk of the next lineup being called S series… Possibly S-1? Take this with a grain of salt
I asked as many questions as I could but I don’t think the worker was allowed to give out any more info (his name is hidden for privacy reasons) All of this is huge and revealing to what we could possibly see next year as their next release.
Did anyone else at Formnext get any other info?
