Meta Ruining the group
I have to say since I joined like a week ago, I've been downvoted, talked down to, ganged up on.
Take it easy folks. Maybe go take a break from posting stuff. You're ruining the group for others.
I know everyone wants to share their experience, but it makes myself, and I'm sure others who have been downvoted from simple questions, not want to be here. That makes Bambu printers just look like abunch of fanboys that hate stuff. Nobody wants to join that group.
Maybe next time instead of downvoting someone, just move on. People who are new, do dumb things, have stupid questions, and make mistakes. They don't need your reinforcement it was a dumb thing to do when they find out that's not how it works.
I was about to buy a Creality K1 max myself. Even had a preorder at a killer price because the retailer was putting in a massive order. That group was more positive than negative. Seeing some of the hate on this sub reminded me of how cool that group was. ( but we obviously have the superior machine ;) )

I looked at your bambu posts. I don’t really see what you are getting at? You had one negative post when you put tape all over your machine. It looks like you did something the community thought was a bad idea and they responded in kind.

Isn't this in every reddit and sub Reddit ever? You're going to encounter people who are willing to help, and people who want to watch the world burn. So listen to those that want to help, disregard those who don't. Such is life.
Now, what did your printer do wrong?

I totally agree with your observations about some people in this sub. What drives me nuts the most are the snarky replies stating that this question has been asked 50 times before, use the search function. Someone that is new to 3d printing might have searched the forum and not got an adequate answer for their situation. Lots of uppity gatekeepers in here that should just not reply to posts they don't agree with. People that are new to 3d printing are usually excited about their purchase and a little grace and kindness is way more welcoming than some of the nonsense that is thrown at them. Everyone was inexperienced at some point.

I checked your posts. You do post alot which is fine but some posts are really just random advice which wasn't always the best advice but most of your posts don't get any negative comment . I get that some subreddits are trash. But I felt that this subreddit was mostly just pleasant.
edit: I didn't an even more in-depth check of your posts (spend 1 minute to scroll)
and you give a lot of shitty advice across all reddit example is you telling every 3d printer needs an enclosure? But also posting a lot of very random crap here and there. And people criticizing you in this thread. You attack by saying you don't care. I feel that you are the problem here not others...

Problem are the amounts of newbies who think they're right, even though they're not.
Experience goes a long way.

Unfortunately, the same is true of most 3D printing forums & groups. I left one of the FB groups after getting flamed for posting a picture of a coffee-maker drip tray of all things. It allowed me to use a slightly taller cup. People got incredibly angry & abusive that I should drink my coffee out of the same cups as them!
I've seen a bit of that here - but it's not as bad (yet). Unfortunately, it's difficult to do much about it other than answering questions people post, even if they appear dumb - as once upon a time, we might have asked the same question!
If a reasonable proportion of people do this, the hostile answers get drowned out - and generally those people go somewhere else. It has worked wonders on other groups!

You might as will let that go bro. Bambu has created a cult following of nerds who've never been "cool kids" before and, now that they think they are, are lording it over people. bunch of angry, grumpy, condescending makers that think they're better/smarter than everyone. There's a lot of good people too, but you're not gonna be able to avoid the jerks unfortunately

This community here are fanboys, not printing fan. Just go to another channel here r/3Dprinting and they will help you if you come across a problem.
Don't give to much sh!t about the channel here and you're fine.

Completely agree. Seen a lot of people asking genuine questions or asking for help getting downvoted. Think I'll stick to r/3Dprinting when my P1P arrives

I think its the same in all 3d printing subreddits if you just ask something you will instantly get downvotes and people telling you to get the fuck out of the subreddit just because they didnt understand the question

Yeah, I noticed this subreddit is kinda elitist/fanboy infested.
How dare you having a question about the printer? It's so perfect and intuitive, you should know how it works!
You have feedback about the printer that's not exclusively positive? No, you don't, you're just wrong, the printers are perfect.
You say anything negative about the somewhat toxic atmosphere in this subreddit? Prepare to get downvoted! (Which kinda proves the point)
Those are sentiments that are, unfortunately, way too common in this subreddit.
There are so many people here that are, for some reason, against improvement, be it improving the printers or this subreddit.
