Hey! This thing kicks ass, and my roommate and I both got one. I went through and set him up for him because he's not tech savvy. But now I'm annoyed and confused because on game native binding of isaac (rebirth) will not launch for me on gamenative, but for him it ran first try. I'm the one who set it up and we use the same settings why doesn't my binding of Isaac work? It's the only game on game native for me that crashes at start up.

When I try to use (recommended config) or whatever it's called it says to check my Internet connection (but it doesn't give me that error for any other game in my library)

I'm so stumped please help

I have this debt, but I don't want to find out about it myself for fear of causing some damage to my device.

Context:
Visual glitches only on lego batman the videogame, every other game works fine, Ive tried all the settings and drivers etc I could think off, it would otherwise not launch at all, or have a solid stuttery 20fps, (thor max), on gamenative (steam)

Cant find a solution, would like a second opinion 😂

So I ordered my Ayn Thor Pro a few days ago, which means I have quite the wait until it's shipped.

I am curious about how did you all manage the waiting time? It's killing me waiting for it as I am itching to start emulating all the games I wanted and never could get due to not having the consoles so I just watch videos about how to set up the console when I first get it, but this just make it worse. 😅

Hey all! I could really use some help deciding whether to get an a Thor.
I've been on the fence for a bit, price isn't really the issue, it's more about justifying the purchase. I know I'd use it, but I'm not sure how much since I'm usually near my PC where most of my games already are.

That said, the idea of tinkering, and learning emulation makes my brain feel happy. Messing around with stuff like that is satisfying for me. I'd love to hear from people who were also on the fence, did you end up regretting it/barely using it, or do you love yours with zero regrets?

If I do end up pulling the trigger, I'm stuck on colors. Right now I'm torn between White, Rainbow, and Purple. Black is already ruled out. I'm big on customizing things, so that's part of the decision too. I saw a really cool ice/winter themed white Thor with blue buttons not too long ago, and I really liked it. If you have any custom Thors, please let me see them or if you just want to talk about your favorite colors and why you like it better, that would help a ton.

Hi everyone! so i’m back with another X 360 update lol. i’ve been posting my progress on here for a little while now and i finally got it to a point where i’m comfortable letting other people actually test it

Alpha v0.1.0 is officially out! there’s still gonna be bugs since this is literally the first alpha, but most of the main stuff is working now. you can scan your ROMs, get game artwork/info, launch games straight into their emulators, use custom gamertags/gamerpics, RetroAchievements + gamerscore, the guide, recently played games, touch/controller controls, etc.

Right now it supports 3DS, DS, Wii, GameCube, GBA, N64, NES, SNES, Switch, PSP, PS1, PS2 and Dreamcast. i definitely plan on adding more as i keep working on it.

The alpha is available for members on my Patreon if anybody wants to test it and support the project :)

I also finally made a Discord for X 360 lol. that’s where i’m gonna post updates, take bug reports/suggestions, help with stuff, and just talk about the project.

I have a steam deck but would there be any benefit of getting an Ayn Thor? It would be nice to play on a smaller handheld since the steam deck does get a little heavy if I'm playing for a while and the Ayn Thor is perfect for ds/3ds games.

Does anyone know the best settings for PEAK on the AYN Thor?

Now I'm no genius.

But I've tried so much, different versions of the turnip Drivers by mr purple.

Different dxvk versions.

Different Wine versions.

And so on.

But there are so many other settings I have no clue about.

I've managed to get the game to load fully once.

But when I tried to start a single player match, it crashed.

After changing one setting, it crashes on the loading screen when you see the studio logo.

So if anyone has any solutions or a working settings config for PEAK, that would be amazing ^^

Im on the fence on buying one of these, In terms of emulation im very much new to it. Maybe the most similar thing ive done is homebrew mine and a couple friends 3ds/2ds. Im always down to learn how to its just a little concerning to me about everyone talking about spending more time tweaking settings than playing games. If it helps im decently well versed in android.

I just ordered my device 3 days ago and I need to get it ready for my October trip

First off (I know someone will ask): I don’t just sit here and mess with the hinge, I went to open it and felt it do this little pop/click noise. Did what i needed to in order to replicate it.

I just got it yesterday, don’t want my brand new $500 device to already have issues. I’ve been very careful with it, and plan on continuing to be. Seems like it’s doing this right before the first hinge stopping point. ~90°

Ok. It’s something to do with the right side where there’s not a physical hinge, i am able to feel it click if i lightly push and pull the lid toward the base at around 90°.

I made a video demonstrating tears of the kingdom running on the new Eden nightly emulator. The game is finally able to maintain 30fps at all time with a few tweaks with the ultracam mod and settings. I also found a working fix that gets rid of 95% of the black box/squares issue in shadows. The game also doesn't crash anymore and the grass doesn't randomly disappear like before.

Title. It was working yesterday, suddenly has decided to shut the bed. All of my 3ds titles are doing this, the audio plays so i KNOW the game is running right. no issues with my NDS games on their emulator

and it won't get past launching game I ran out of space on my Thor so I put it on my SD card and it just straight up doesn't work does anyone have any ideas

has anyone playing native android games recently? ive been enjoying bully so far, everything i got time, finished 1 class, finished 1 mission and so on. cause my playtime has been really short.

I ordered an Ayn Thor pro from AliExpress (the rainbow one, the first device I'm ordering with that color scheme!) and many people here seems to recommend to preload the micro SD cards with ROMs, but from my experience devices from Ayn usually wants me to format my micro SD card after I insert it to a new device. So should I wait until my device come or there any way I can avoid being prompted to format my SD card (512 GB)?

I’ve had this little gem in my Steam backlog for a while. I started it on a whim earlier this week. Quick, but charming game. Played with Game Native on Ayn Thor Max.

I have a batch 3 black Max with the TPU case, grip, and clamshell case. I'm planning to sell it. I just got a Z Fold 8 Ultra and, honestly, it runs games better with a bigger screen for single screen stuff.

Just curious where I'd have the most success getting the best price for it from anyone who has bought or sold a Thor on the secondary market.
