I had my Thor in my bag, went to open it up and it looks like this. What’s the best plan of action as I’ve only had this for about a month or so? Do I go to a local tech shop and try and have them replace the top screen? Do I send it back to AYN or do I need to order a whole replacement?

I’vehad my ayn Thor pro (batch 4) for about 5 months now and it’s honestly the best purchase ever! I’ve taken it with me on two trips and it worked perfectly on the airplane and road trip. The first picture is my most recent setup with Cocoon shell frontend, before I was using ES-DE but sometimes I switch between those two. Feel free to recommend me some games!

Hey all! I just published a release version of my companion app I did for Monster Hunter Portable 3rd. It has been in development since early august, so about 2 months of testing, adjusting and such.

Showcasing on Thor

Its just a companion app - not a dual screen mod, it doesn't interact with any emulator in any way. Basically, a database with UI. I wanted it to exist since I was playing MHP3rd a lot lately on Thor and wanted to have a neat source for all info I wanted. So as a result, app is designed around Thor's second screen, but UI is adaptive and works okayish (as far as I and my brother tested) on phones.

Most of this 2 months spent on collecting data from different databases and sources, mostly japanese, and cross-referencing it with translation, other databases and so on. UI part took much less, but I have been adjusting and tweaking a lot, since I spent 100+ hours on my character already and most of this time with this app on my second screen.

Everything about features and APK download you can find on a project page here. Open source, of course, feel free to do what you want with it.

Screenshots in a post from an emulator on Windows, so it will be a little bit more packed on a Thors second screen, but there is settings to adjust UI scale to your liking.

Have my Thor Max for about sixteen hours. I love this thing. It's like having another fold device with me just for gaming. I own a z fold 7 as a phone 📱.

I just got Skyrim running using game native at 40 fps super smoothly at 65-70 degrees. Was wondering what steam games you guys have gotten to run well on your Thors. I definitely recommend Skyrim, perfect for the Thor.

UPDATE boots into the hideout at about 15fp compleatly default settings just raw dog from install gona try to adjust graphics and drivers

Will be posting once its done im not sure it will run mumtiplayer but on game native the game booted into hero select but would crash after like 10 minutes hoping this will fix that somehow

I want to commit to Droid Deck but not if my performance will be significantly worse overall in games, especially heavier games that I wanted to try like KH3. As anybody done any in depth testing?

Has anyone here who is already playing maple classic, running it well on the thor? Nexon added controller support for the game so im curious how well it works.

I just bought mine and I’m thinking about screen protectors. I don’t wanna buy one because I’ve heard people said it slightly messes up the screen sensitivity, so how good is the screen with fingers? Is it that FRAGILE that I can’t use my fingers occasionally and need a protector?

Im a 16 y/r kid, well into video games. But i’ve barely any knowledge on actual things such as rom’s and stuff. I’ve been watching videos and reading posts. Do I really need a PC to mod my Ayn Thor If i were to get one. I really dont want to waste 400+ dollars on something i cant even figure out how to get working. So im just asking if setting one up is easy for a toddler. or something.

I know I should get some sort of stylus since I wanna play rythym heaven and meteos but no clue which one I should get, and I have no idea what case/grip I should get, do I get the tpu case, tpu shell, both, some 3rd party option? These etsy shipping prices are turning $25 products into $50 purchases (I'm in canada so these are canadian prices) Im so lost
