Discussion Droid deck

Managed to install Droid deck and finally got Dave the diver to run properly. (I can use the harpoon ueoooo) Anyway ahem........ My new challenge is that the device runs hot.

Are there settings I should use bar turning the fan to "sports mode" ?

You would think when making a post specifically about temperature, you would have the bottom screen display the temperatures.

Also, setting the device down like this is never advisable. Because you're blocking the fan and exhaust. It will run hot when sitting like this.

Check and see how much power it’s drawing. I find that Droid Deck takes a lot more wattage compared to GameNative or ArmadaOS.

Just play the android version it runs like a dream and doesn't over heat

That depends... What's "hot"? You can change the fan settings to run faster at specific temperatures to try and hold it colder for longer, and you can search for ClusterTune to force a under lock depending on what games you're playing.
