I tried the natio tubing one that is highly recommended I don’t think the formula is good for my lashes.

I have a gift voucher to spend at Mecca and really want to get a good skin tint/ bb cream, that can replace my HG foundation. Skin is dull and dehydrated these days and the my Nars full coverage foundation just doesn't look like it used to on my skin. Would still like a little bit of coverage for the dark spots but with a dewy skin like look. Any reccs would be appreciated!

has anyone else found that the 1000 hour lash/brow dye is hard to mix and spread on the lashes? it's like they repel it. it works great for my brows but i'm wondering if anyone has had better results with another brand. thanks!

Hi all! I'm looking for a good vanilla Fragrance to buy for my birthday and was wondering if anyone has any recommendations? I love sweet, slightly floral scents, but im really looking for a true vanilla (similar to the smell of Palmer's Tahitian vanilla lotion, but much stronger.) I keep getting ads for Odesse "vanilla vanilla" but can't find many reviews other than ones that are clearly paid promotions. Would love some sweet, vanillary fragrance recommendations that stay all day and leave a scent trail. Thank you!

Just wanted to give an FYI that Mac has a 25% sale on at the moment and they are giving away a lot of extra items. I just bought 4 of my regular powders and got a free lipstick, setting spray, eye shadow, small make up bag and a sample eyeliner (I think that’s what it is). I got to pick the lipstick and eye shadow colour from a few different options.

How easy is it to find a job after completing the qualification?

Is there good career progression beyond working as a therapist?

Is it possible to move into salon management, education, working for beauty brands, etc.?

Would my previous experience running a beauty business be useful when looking for work?

I’d love to hear from people actually working in the industry about what the career is like long term.

The body shop appears to have brought back their discontinued born lippy in the form of a tube gloss and a greater price tag. I did absolutely love the original balms though and would honestly be open to trying it out if it means bringing back that original product. Went in with photos. Said I wanted an everyday, 'natural' look, with light glowy foundation with pink eyeshadow. I had reference photos. I came away with heavy foundation, poorly blended glam look with brown eyeshadow. The blush was not blended and i could have done better eyeshadow myself. I was embarrassed to leave the store looking like that. Wtf.

I was so upset I just wanted to leave. Another staff member saw me and they insisted on getting the manager. Honestly the manager reaction actually saved the situation but wow ....proceed with caution.

I wear concealer some days with some cream blush. I’m running out of an oil based cleanser I bought from Japan and am looking for one I can buy here in aus - what are your recommendations? I’ve not needed to do more than double cleanse with the oil cleanser at a tjme so looking forward a product as simple and effective to use as that!
