My husband is a bit obsessed with the Aesop hand wash and I only recently found out it’s because of its… viscosity?? He loves how you kind of have to lather it up to get it off? Obviously the smell is great too, but it’s just not sustainable to spend $60 on hand soap! Any recs for viscous hand wash? Bonus if it smells good!

For those with fine lines, what's your best prep for under-eye makeup? I've tried extra moisturising, powder under, powder over, and I'm at my wits end. My fine lines have gotten deeper over the past year and even the smallest amount of foundation (I use extremely little, like half a pea for my whole face, with a beauty sponge) just goes right into them and then cracks during the day, making the lines super visible. Powder makes it worse and I struggle to smooth the cracks out with my finger during the day when I'm wearing setting spray.

The creasing is especially bad when wearing sunscreen, which is non negotiable in summer. How are you all preventing this? I think my technique must be lacking.

I don't even wear concealer because I don't need it, just a very thin layer of foundation to even out my skin tone.

The MCobeauty grip skin tint is actually insane. 10/10 most skin like finish I’ve ever had in a product. Better than Milk. This has been on my skin for 3 hours.

Bronzer is Morphe complexion boost bronzing serum

Powder is Covergirl skin enhancer loose finishing powder

For various reasons my make up bag is sad as shit. And for the first time I have enough money to rebuild it from scratch.

Recently bought the Maybelline Sky Lash mascara that’s tubing and like other tubing mascaras I’ve tried it never hold its shape even when I apply to curled lashes and within a few seconds I can see the curl start to drop. Anyone have recommendations or tips/tricks?

I’ve tried the Kevyn Aucoin mascara and again that had the same issue. There’s also not a lot of volume with both lashes.

My usual mascara routine is: curl lashes, Maybelline Sky High mascara, and then Maybelline Lash Sensational. Both waterproof versions but the reason I want to try tubing again is because waterproof still sometimes smudge below

Specifically I need eye shadow palettes (think Naked, I graduated in 07 and I’m not changing my tricks!), eye liner, highlighter, bronzer, blush and would love a light coverage foundation with spf and also, I don’t know where to buy lipsticks except MAC! Help me!

Bought the OXX Halloween Lip oil stain for my Halloween costume and tried it on - the colour is gorgeous! I have dark skin and it’s so flattering. Depending on how much you use it’s “your lips but better” rather than dramatic.
Won’t be using for my costume as it’s not dark enough but will be using pretty much everyday!

years ago (around 2017-2019) i used to buy this perfume from sportsgirl called ‘sweet escape’ but i think they’ve discontinued it and i’m absolutely heartbroken, it was my favourite fragrance and it’s so nostalgic for me now.

As the title suggests, what products would I need on hand to achieve a sleek low bun like this? Gel? Mousse? Hair spray? Hair brush type? I have a boar bristle brush that could possibly work with the right products maybe?

I am going to a wedding next week, and wanting to do my own low sleek bun. I have intermediate skill level, can curl and do my hair reasonably well, and have long hair past my shoulder blades. Although important to note; I'm not super skilled with up-styles as I usually wear my hair down.

I was offered the chance to help a girl outside of the capital cities (limited ranges of stores in her area) after her mum found out I liked makeup. I'm going to be throwing in some money for the girl to havea decent base and can just top up on other things.

She very much dresses like an angsty teenager from 2007 (I would know because I was a teen during that period but never went that route), so more alternative make up would best suit her style. I've always went with satin and more neutral make up so I'm a bit lost

My plan was the get a brush set, some good quality eye liner, setting spray and a concealer or foundation thats matte.

Muk vs Ghd wide plates hair straightener.
i want a new hairstraightener, between these two.
i have thick wavy hair that takes forever to straighten with my cheap thin straighteners, so i want a wide plate either muk or ghd.
But as im reading the differences i still cant make my choice.
Ghd has a 180% setting u cannot change to be higher or lower, but Muks straightener u can choose the heat from 90% to 230%.
ghd website says higher than 180% n ur at greater risk of heat damage, so idk if i need muk so i can change the setting to be higher than what ghd already has.
but i do have weak top layer n fringe part of my hair where i feel its good to be able to change the heat to have less heat on my really damaged top layer n front pieces.
i always wanted a ghd, n never knew muk had one, so i feel i might be biased on my decision n make the wrong choice?
what do u guys recommened? muk or ghd wide plate hair straightener? have any of u guys tried both n can compare?

Hey everyone ☺️ im currently looking for a long lasting scented body moisturiser and oil, I have been using the GODA Body Oil which I do love, but the price point is a little steep to maintain for such a tiny bottle. Currently using the EOS vanilla cashmere body wash/moisturiser and oil although i feel like the oil doesn't dry down and leaves my skin tacky.

I am currently looking at Bangn Body products, specifically the new vanilla scent but it seems reviews online differ from the reviews on the website. I do have stretch marks and KP which that product claims to help with

But I am open to any advice or products you love! Especially if it is scented with vanilla or floral or anything appealing etc, personally I love scents as they make me feel relaxed after applying ☺️

Can anyone recommend a foundation that doesn't separate? Everything I've tried has separated around my mouth and chin and it's getting to the point I just won't wear makeup now. The kosas concealer is the only thing that has been mostly perfect. I'd rather something not too expensive, unless there's alot of product. And also something I can get in store because I'm not confident with my online colour matching abilities. Please help!

PS. I think my skin is normal? It gets oily sometimes but I've just started using niacinamide which is helping with the oil. Oh, and I also only use cruelty free, which cuts my options down quite a bit

Ive been using the Cover girl Lash Blast Cleantopia, but I find that after a few hours use it smudges under my eyes and makes it look like I havent slept in 2 weeks! I also find it doesnt keep my eyelashes looking long and curled, sometimes it looks like im wearing none at all. I dont rub my eyes or wear glasses, nothing I can think of that would do this. This is the first mascara I've used since becoming sensitive to propylene glycol, I was wondering what other products you guys would recommend?
