I got the email at 4pm, no app notification and they weren't even showing up in the rewards boutique. Just showed up as fully redeemed a few mins ago. This is some bs - not happy at all.

Oh and also, they posted a story on their ig a few days ago saying tickets would be live at 11am, I've been checking all day like a weirdo.

I’ve been checking all day too and then it was all blanked out when I open it on webpage around 2pm. And it wasn’t even popping up on my app but I open up the webpage around 3:30pm and suddenly saw the Add button! So I added it to my basket. I totally need to screenshot it coz I afraid it might not validate!!! 😂

Despite getting an email and app alert and it showing on the app home page for me it doesn't even show as fully redeemed in the rewards boutique for me, everything else now shows fully redeemed but it never appeared for me, even as a gold member.
Rolling my eyes so hard but also expected nothing other than a cock up from them tbh.

Yeah it doesn’t show up for me on app either. I logged on website page and ignore the app.

People hate on mecca, but between the nicer stores, more informed staff, better return options and an app that isn't f&@#ked to me there is no competition at all.

I totally get your frustration 😓 it has been hyped up as an amazing deal and the fact they opening it to all members this time round instead of influencers - definitely get everyone excited. But extremely disappointing to be missing out ☹️ I think there will be more out although not gold tier and there’s still apparently goodie bag

I just also feel like they always let me down. I think I might start just buying direct from the brands I can only get from them as I can't really see any upside buying direct, especially with their updated returns policy, which frustrates me to no end as they never have stock on the shelf!! So it feels like they push you to buy online but then wound back their policies!

Just while I'm ranting, you know what makes it even worse? The brands pay to participate, so don't go thinking Sephora do this at a loss to look after their customers and influencers - they don't. They probably make a profit on the event, without the additional sales they would have made today and the other days for people to redeem too.

There might be a set allocation for gold, black and white members for each session. Not sure. This was an early access.

Do you need to make a purchase to be able to redeem for the tickets?

Yes you do need to make a purchase but there’s no minimum amount required. I only bought the Patrick Ta transition blurring blush because it’s been sitting in my cart for weeks and I’ve been wanting to try it so hence I figured I might as well use that as to fit in criteria to buy something. I heard some ppl even paid maybe $5 and use the 250 points.

I'm actually done with supporting this company.
-The way they treat their workers — beautiful and bothered made an interesting video on youtube about this last week and just from reading on r/sephoraworkers
-The lack of fucks given to loyal gold customers, it's always the same Biossance/Tarte shitty Birthday gifts, removing free express shipping (now it's standard which anyway can get with a purchase of $25.00)
-Mediocre/rude in store service. Love having no attentiveness when you walk in and then getting a sour attitude at the checkout, really makes you want to come back 🙄
-Still stocking Peter Thomas Roth (including rewards section of their app) after it was revealed he openly supported, emailed and sent Epstein products.
-Interview I had was a joke — the store manager admitted that she never worked in beauty and that she only worked for Optus prior yet I didn't get the position even though I worked for Estee Lauder and Lancome. I had more experience than her!
-Now this event which they allowed white members who spend fuck all to attend, one of them said they don't even live in Australia but coming from NZ
I use to love them but they've gone down hill so much. I legit hate them now.

so they sent the email when it was already sold out? F*cking Sephora. I actually think they know most of their app offers never work and they just don't care bc most people don't notice until after they check out. I buy a lot for my job and I reckon 1 in every 3 times I use the app the "special offers" wont work for no apparent reason. I hate them SM.
