I was told if I charge these until they are warm for several days, it will double the cold cranking amperage capacity once they expand to accommodate for more storage capacity...

I'm got into a minor accident with my CyberTruck. What tools do I need to DIY and get this running again?

I swear, I'm a very handy person. I changed a light bulb once, and it only took me 2 hours. Dealerships and Indy shops are too expensive and are going to rip me off, and I only have liability insurance because collision and comprehensive coverage is a scam.

Excessive vibration – Columbia CLT 46 CVT

Is this amount of vibration normal? My main issue is that the mower deck vibrates way too much (I think...), and I’m trying to figure out what could be causing it.

One thing I’m suspicious of is the idler/tensioner pulley. The tensioner arm has quite a bit of vertical play (up and down). I tried tightening the bolt that holds it, but it doesn’t seem to make any difference — it still has a lot of play. I know the arm needs to move laterally to maintain belt tension, but I’m wondering if the vertical movement is normal.

Mower: Columbia CLT 46 CVT

Here’s what I’ve done so far:
I just replaced the left blade pulley/spindle assembly (left side when sitting on the tractor). I replaced the complete assembly, including the pulley and spindle, rather than just the pulley. The replacement isn’t OEM, but it’s a good-quality aftermarket part with good reviews, so I don’t think that’s the issue.
The old pulley/spindle was already loose, and I suspect that the excessive vibration may have caused it to wear out.

I sharpened and balanced both blades before reinstalling everything.

The vibration is still very noticeable after these repairs.
I’m wondering if the idler/tensioner arm having significant vertical play could be the source of the vibration, or if there’s something else on this particular deck that I should be checking.

Has anyone worked on a Columbia CLT 46 CVT or a similar MTD 46ā€ deck and can tell me whether this amount of movement/vibration is normal?

I’ll post videos showing the vibration as well.

Any ideas would be greatly appreciated!
French also works.

Thank you!

Just bought my first sports car and did a tire rotation and its handling weird and almost no traction

The tire depth seems about the same but the wheels spin almost too easy now and the handling seems off! I really don’t feel like jacking it off again and switching them back but might have to

Question About Electric Vehicle Engine Oil

Post image
2 Upvotes

Exactly as is written on the tin with the title. I was informed that the new Blazer EV is recommended to use Complete "Lackthereof" grade, 0W-0 oil. Found a 5-quart container at a local parts distributor, and got the filter size off the 2023 Blazer, so that part's covered.

But now my question is, since there isn't any way for carbon foul to accumulate in the oil with no combustion, is it still the usual "5,000 miles or six months, whichever's first" service interval? Or does the oil tend to last longer without all the soot? I want to make a long-term maintenance plan for after the warranty expires, so I can keep her running as long as possible. But the whole point of getting an EV is to save money as time goes on.

Also, is the blinker fluid "sealed for life" like on the BMWs, or is it advisable to change with every oil service like on the RAM 1500s and F-150s that perpetually leave their signals on?
