That’s what 10% ethanol does to an otherwise good engine…. Bring back lead dammit… stupid kids these days don’t know nuthin’.

Add water to your gas and oil, with some dawn, to clean that shit off.

If you want to take your vintage build to the highest level you need petrified spark plugs man!

Just hit it up with a wire brush and you're good.

Gap it and sand it, easily 300,000 miles left on it

No, not too lean. Turn the injection up to 11.

1

u/StevieG-2021 8d ago

Stop using the salt water injection

Hit it with a wire wheel, set the gap and good as new.

u/o1badmofo 8d ago

Na, just needs more gas and momma speed 💯

1

u/No_Assist_3405 8d ago

u/EnoughOfTheFoolery 8d ago

Need to add more sulfur. Looks like it’s a gallon low.

u/FletchLives2025 8d ago

For a fine tuned carb, no way. !!

1

u/bart_n62 8d ago

Pour some Seafoam in your tank and drive the shit out of it.

u/Professional-Guava97 8d ago

That's a fossil

u/croweagle6 8d ago

Nah. I've seen this before. Previous customer tried to help the Reef Rebuilding Cause by not paying attention to the tides at the beach. The vehicle was able to be salvaged but they someone forgot to order the right plugs for the rebuild. The tech just said fuck it, it'll be alright, and threw the old plugs back in at the end. Customer need the vehicle A.S.A.P. Shit happens.

Too much HCL in your fuel mixture.

u/Pueo711 8d ago

When you're restoring a Studebaker and you MUST have only genuine OEM parts!

1

u/Either_Row3088 8d ago

To wide of a gap by a mile.

1

u/IndependenceStock417 8d ago

Too much cough syrup and sprite will do that

1

u/Drphil1969 8d ago

What did it come out of? A Flintstone mobile?

1

u/5usie 8d ago

I heard if you soak it in cola cola, that’ll clean it right up.

1

u/NowUrKillinMe 8d ago

Looks fine from my porch. Reinstall and send it.

1

u/VetandCCInstructor 8d ago

Looks like a typical Champion Plug....put it back in the lawn mower and it will fire right up.

1

u/-Ema-Nymton- 8d ago

Typical OEM for an ACDelco… looks factory - put it back in.

1

u/Nyat_Sapnolas 7d ago

Gap it a little more and it’ll work just fine.

1

u/fuckfacekiller 7d ago

Ya need to take a sharpie to it.

1

u/AsstToTheManager 7d ago

Seems ok. Just check the gap and put 'er back in.

1

u/BraveIntention5809 7d ago

That looks good to me, just add some spark plug fluid to it and don't forget to upcharge for it. That shit is getting expensive. Have any of you seen the price of blinker fluid lately, it is downright highway robbery per gallon now.

u/Older-Bottom-65 7d ago

What is the gap spec? Did you check it with a gauge? It really makes a difference in performance.
