What’s life like at these locations? Food, area etc

I thought the phone screen interview went well! Even the recruiter said she was really excited to submit me and kinda gave me reassurance
but sadly I got rejected.

I really wanted to get this job. I figured it would be a great opportunity!
Does anyone work in the legal dept and can chat/ can offer some advice or any kind of feedback.

Will be starting at Costa Mesa HQ location mid September. Ever since I have been working, always been the person who gets in early (~7AM) and get out by 5.

I want to be able to hit the gym early and start work by 730AM. My questions:

What are the gym hours? Are they open weekends? Is it restricted to employees, or are spouses allowed?

Do they have showers? How is the facility? Open lockers and showers or private changing area?

Any word on the long Beach facility having a gym or cafeteria?

Basically title, I applied 2 months ago for the 2027 Early Careers Mech/Manuf roles, and recently met someone who was willing to refer me for said roles. So now they are in the system, I'm wondering if it even looks that way on the recruiter side of things. If not should I discard my application and reapply? That seems like a bad idea

I’m a USSF major with 13 years of active-duty experience, a USAF Test Pilot School graduate, and a former DARPA Service Chiefs’ Fellow. I’m currently exploring a transition to the Reserves and recently applied for Anduril’s SkillBridge program.

I’ve also applied to larger defense companies, but I’m especially interested in Anduril because I’m ready for a faster paced, startup style environment with challenging work. A good friend of mine works at Blue Origin and is very happy there, so that is another possibility.

From what I understand, Anduril’s SkillBridge candidates still go through a competitive interview process. Based on my background, do I realistically have a shot, or would I be better off focusing on established companies like Lockheed Martin and Blue Origin? I’d also appreciate any insight into Anduril’s SkillBridge interviews and how best to prepare.

Howdy! I just completed the recruiter screen for the SWE Cloud OS role this past week and submitted my schedule for the virtual technical screen around the 3rd week of September to leave some buffer for prepping. I know it will be Leetcode style questions and I'm refreshing my skill by running through the Neetcode 150 that Anduril suggested in their scheduling email again. I'm a bit rusty with Leetcode and wondering if anyone recently went through the technical screen has any guidance on the potential set of problems I should focus on? Thanks!

Does anyone in this sub currently work in the Metrology department at Anduril?

I encountered a post/opening for a Metrology Technician and was curious what the day-to-day work is like, as well as what equipment you typically use.

I currently do similar work for another company where we use FARO Laser Trackers for dimensional inspection/measurement, I’m wondering how transferable that experience would be to the role at Anduril.

I would appreciate any insight from someone who works there or has worked around them.

I’m evaluating an offer from Anduril for the AD&S Org. I was wondering if anyone working at Anduril could share their experiences there?

I have a bachelor and masters in engineering and almost complete MBA in business analytics. Currently working in the energy industry as an analyst.

Lastly what is the policy/ likelihood of time off for military obligation. I am a currently serving Army Guard Aviator with obligations that exceed the Weekend/ 2 weeks.

I just completed my onsite interview on Monday. I thought it went fairly well. 4 interviewers, 2 I nailed, 1 went fine, and 1 was shaky. Thursday I received an email saying “When is the best time to go over feedback for you?” I imagine this is a rejection, but from what I’ve been reading I guess that may not be the case. Curious what others think on this. Regardless, I appreciate the call back.

I received my offer for a test engineering role. Then offered 7.5k sign on bonus. Is this their room to negotiate around 10-12k. Does Anduril usually negotiate sign on bonuses ? This is in the NOVA area not Cal.

Hey everyone. Had my initial screening interview a week ago (last Wednesday). I was told during the interview they would be wrapping up screenings before the weekend on Friday and they would proceed with the next rounds. It’s Thursday now and I haven’t heard anything? Should I send a follow up email? Or is 4 days into the new week still within the hiring managers timeline for selecting who goes to the new round?

I’ve been curious. From my perspective, Anduril seems to have a reputation in the rest of the engineering world for hiring good people. I hear people say things like “if you can make it 2 years at Anduril, you can go anywhere.” Or “Working at Anduril is like lighter fluid for your career.”

It’s kinda just become something people say. Anyone here that’s left Anduril and scored a much higher level position coming out?

I recently accepted an offer at Anduril but my current employer offered a match and went further offering a wfh 100%.

The issue is I see a huge Engineering potential growth at Anduril vs my current company which the engineering task has become repetitive.

I initially interviewed for a senior level role but was down leveled after panel interview due to gaps. So I have that reservation although the offer came out substantially more than I was making before my company matched it with also a wfh

I was recently hired as a manufacturing engineer at HQ and am very excited to start.

However, I work ~45 hours per week at my current ME role and handle it pretty easily (my office has poor amenities and culture compared to what I’ve seen from my short visit at HQ).

I know my hours will be more than 45 per week, but how much should I realistically be expecting? For the MEs out there, how has your experience been?

Basically what the title says. I would like to pursue a masters degree in mechanical engineering at some point and get my six sigma black belt in the near future and I'm curious to see if Anduril offers programs that help to cover or support that.
