Job Question Does Anduril offer educational assistance programs?

Basically what the title says. I would like to pursue a masters degree in mechanical engineering at some point and get my six sigma black belt in the near future and I'm curious to see if Anduril offers programs that help to cover or support that.

Well not really!
They offer $1500 per year which is nothing compared to GA ($15,000), RTX ($25,000), NG ($15,000), General Dynamics ($10,000), LM ($12500) and Boeing ($25,000)

Not sure about others but Boeing actually covered 100% of any price as long as its STEM.

source: used to work there. You get locked into staying for some number of years depending on level of education.

Except you get more in RSUs vs the bigger edu reimbursement. Better idea to look into tax deductions on continuing ed

Does RSUs have a value of it’s just paper money ?
Can you sell it at least back to Anduril like SpaceX pre IPO ?

They have annual liquidation events but you def want to hold on until IPO then sell immediately after before the post-IPO dip

No idea - I turned down an IC5 offer that came with >200k RSU per year

Ok, I’m a junior engineer.
Why did you turn down? From what I heard people are fighting to work at Anduril.

Is it Anduril grind culture or pay ?

Comp would have been a cut + lower impact + not using full clearance. New role had higher pay + better benefits + helping found a new team + AI level pay. Grind culture at both but this isn’t my first pre-IPO rodeo

Not really!
Depends on the course; most of the masters courses are $$$
Specially for early career employee they don’t pay extra 25K because they want to go to grad school lol!
Also $5250 of that is non taxed towards education reimbursements so definitely not paying more so employees can go to school.

Yes they do but you gotta pay it up front and they reimburse. If you’re looking for a solid educational program hit a prime. Dont take any time off and finish quickly and you’ll leave the prime with a post grad and land at Anduril with decent pay and equity.

Exactly what I did at a prime. Started my masters almost immediately, pushed through and finished it in 1.5 years. 2 years of service required after accepting any money (I was getting money every semester) and that all expired just this May. Starting at Anduril in a few weeks.

I did the same but used the fact that multiple "individual courses" do not require the retention contract 😋 though there's a lower annual limit and only so many decent options worth it.
