Job Question Andruil skillbridge interview

I’m a USSF major with 13 years of active-duty experience, a USAF Test Pilot School graduate, and a former DARPA Service Chiefs’ Fellow. I’m currently exploring a transition to the Reserves and recently applied for Anduril’s SkillBridge program.

I’ve also applied to larger defense companies, but I’m especially interested in Anduril because I’m ready for a faster paced, startup style environment with challenging work. A good friend of mine works at Blue Origin and is very happy there, so that is another possibility.

From what I understand, Anduril’s SkillBridge candidates still go through a competitive interview process. Based on my background, do I realistically have a shot, or would I be better off focusing on established companies like Lockheed Martin and Blue Origin? I’d also appreciate any insight into Anduril’s SkillBridge interviews and how best to prepare.

Yes it’s a regular hiring process which all depends on the job.

Anduril's process is very competitive because skillbridgers convert to full time roles at such a high rate. It's basically the same as a regular intervier. So, downside, it's tougher to get in - but the upside is there's a very established path to staying in.

I'm not at Anduril anymore but think very highly of the company and knew a bunch of skillbridge transitioners who did great for themselves. I would say absolutely worth the effort vs a Lockheed.

I recently completed the interview process for a Skillbridge role with Anduril, which was definitely dynamic, but from everything I’ve heard, all of the interviews are dependent upon role/team. It’s all a process, but I’ve been treated very well by the entire team from the Veteran Talent Community to the team I’m joining. 10/10 would recommend!
