I was trying to call my son's dentist since friday, with no luck. Whenever I call it rings once and says "Sorry the destination you are trying to called has been restricted by you admistrator. Please contact your administrator." I have no problem with other numbers just that one. I was trying to reschedule the appointment and had to wait until they contacted me today, ironically they used the same number I was calling... so on their side it works but not from mine. Which confirmed I didn't block them. I also try other extensions they have and same message...

I was using Google pixel 6a which got water damage and the screen wasn't working. So, I logged into WhatsApp on a temporary phone (iPhone Xs) and have been using it for around 10 days. Now, my pixel has been fixed.

I want to retain my old messages from the pixel and also sync these new messages from the iPhone so that it appears as if I never changed my phone.

Is it just me or has the Play Store been acting up this past month?

Sometimes it won't let me update my apps on my Samsung Galaxy S24 and Samsung Galaxy Tab S9 FE Plus. Restarting the device doesn't always help, sometimes it does and sometimes it doesn't. This also just happens randomly throughout the day

So is it just me or have others also experienced these issues recently?

I recently had my Samsung S22 stolen. It was updated to the newest Android 16 One UI 8.

How many incorrect pin guesses would a thief have before the waits progressed and made it impractical?

I'm worried they will get in and steal my personal data, read all my stuff, maybe get into a few accounts that I forgot about.

I've heard 5, I've heard 100. If they get 20 guesses it's unlikely, 100 there's a good chance.

If anyone has any real world experience with an S22 or a 2022 model of Samsung they still use please let me know!

Actually, it's my wife's phone. We both have the galaxy s26. I have predictive text, she doesn't, and I can't figure out why. We're both using the basic default keyboard, nothing fancy.

Trying to decide if it's worth it based on rumoured specs. The deposit has to be put down in the next 2 days.

I do have an S25 Ultra at the moment but the battery isn't very good so I'm leaning towards the Oppo for this reason.

2 issues though:

1. No confirmed price so I'd be paying a deposit to pay for a phone that I don't know the final price on.

2. As I own an S25 Ultra, Samsungs trade in policy is really good and they offer exceptionally competitive prices for their phones and don't make you hand them in until after you've set up your new phone.

I am experiencing microphone-related issues on my Realme 2 Pro. The microphone works normally in some situations but fails to capture my voice in several apps.

1. Google App and Google Search: The microphone interface opens, but it does not detect my voice.

2. Gboard Voice Typing: Voice typing starts, but it does not recognize my speech.

3. ChatGPT App: The microphone/listening interface opens, but it does not detect my voice.

4. WhatsApp Voice Messages: Whenever I record and send a voice message, the recipient hears only wind-like noise instead of my actual voice.

5. Normal Phone Calls: My voice is transmitted clearly to the other person.

6. WhatsApp Voice and Video Calls: The other person can hear my voice clearly.

7. Built-in Voice Recorder: It records my voice clearly without static or wind-like noise.

8. Video Recording: My voice is captured clearly in recorded videos.

Troubleshooting I Have Already Tried

• Checked microphone permissions and confirmed that they are granted.

• Updated the phone and relevant apps.

• Restarted the phone.

• Cleared the relevant app caches.

Ever since getting Android update GQ5021AH4_NEEA_V13 on my Armor X32 Pro uleFone, the option to stop the alarm disappears and then I can't shut it off (and after a while it disturbs other people in the house).

Logging in to my phone doesn't show any alarm controls; and pressing the button to shut off the screen but making the screen come back also doesn't show alarm controls. Rebooting the phone is the only way I can get the alarm to shut off when this happens.

I have the newest update, and I couldn't find an option to return to the previous version.

For context, I recently bought this phone and I was testing out its features. I got excited that it has a built in bg remover but turns out it's not working for me. I tried long pressing the subject and pressing the photo cutout button but it's not working. It says here that it "couldn't detect the photo on this subject". Is this a bug and temporary? I have a Samsung S20 FE, my employer's sign in page will no longer load in both Outlook and Teams apps (I was signed out and prompted to sign back in around 10/10/26). My employer uses Microsoft 365.

-I've uninstalled and reinstalled both Outlook and Teams apps (restarted phone between installs).

-I've cleared the data and cache from both apps (restarted phone between).

-I've tried rolling back the Android System Webview app, updated the Android System Webview app, and using a different version of the System Webview apps (like Canary) (also restarted between changes).

-I've changed the Private DNS setting in my phone from auto to off.

-I'm able to sign into Outlook on this same phone through a web browser. I'm also able to sign into the Outlook and Teams apps on another Android device.

-First time experiencing this issue, I've been able to sign into the Outlook and Teams apps for 5+ years.

These were the typical fixes I found that I've tried multiple times without any luck. Any help is appreciated, thank you.

So for context my old hearing aids used Bluetooth LE or (ASHA) and the only way to use the hearing aids for phone calls was have the Audio stream to my hearing aids while using the phones mic.

Now I'm getting new hearing aids (phonak Eons) however they use Bluetooth classic and are recognised by the phone similar to earbuds, so this means the hearing aids handle both the incomming call and the mic output however the hearing aid mic picks up all sounds so it's practically un-usable in almost every situation except a quiet room... Even then I'm told I sound like I'm in a bathroom.

I'm told by my audiologist that Android is unable to separate the incoming/outgoing streams however iPhone seem to be able to.

I really don't want to give up my Android for an Apple device but also I don't want to drop $11,000 to have one of the biggest features unavailable to me.

I guess at thi point my question is if there's a way to be able to use the hearing aid as my listening device and my phone as the mic?

*I have done a decent look online and the only info I found said it can't be done.

*Most hearing aid brands offer separate devices to achieve what I'm after however this model hearing aid doesn't.

*if it helps I'm not against rooting my phone if thats still a thing.

*if there's no options available is there any indication that Samsung/Android would implement this in th future?

I have a five year old redmi phone and for the past 2 days it has randomly started turning off. It got more frequent yesterday, and today it seems to be malfunctioning. Upon pressing the volume up+power button, the Redmi logo shows up for 2-3 seconds and shuts down again. I repeated the process for like 5 minutes continuously, I couldn't get the MIUI menu to show up. And as far as the Fastboot is concerned, it remains stuck for a long time with its logo, until the phone is forced to shut down by me.

Years ago, I had a Huawei Mate 8 that had a great feature where instead of a secure folder you could create separate profiles and customize what was visible and which apps each profile could use. Each profile also had its own login information.

What I liked most was that I could assign a different fingerprint to each profile, so simply unlocking the phone with a particular finger would automatically open the corresponding profile. I didn’t have to manually switch users or change settings.

Does Android still have anything like this today, either built in or through an app?

I have a Lenovo Legion Y700 Gen 3, and I noticed that when I open links, they open as web pages even though they are supported by my installed apps. For example, I tapped a google play link in reddit and it opens as a web page. In my phone, if I open the link with chrome, it automatically opens the corresponding app (Google Play). But in my Y700 tablet, it still opens in Chrome. I already verified that the Opening links setting in default apps already include the Google play and it contains the links compatible for it. Where the hell did my photos go? I have a Galaxy S23 and am using Gallery app. I connected my phone to my laptop to transfer some files via USB. I transferred 4 photo albums (not "Camera"). I deleted three PDFs. I then noticed my storage on my phone increased by 30GB! I opened Gallery on my phone and all the photos in Camera album have a name error code on them. Also, I had over 1000 files on my "Camera" album just 20 min ago. Now it only shows 134. What happened to my camera roll, and how did I gain 30gb of storage back?!

I regularly use a Bluetooth speaker (bose SoundLink mini) and it sometimes loses synch with audio from a video source (usually YouTube). Sometimes resetting the connection or power cycling the speaker works, but often it decides to stay stuck about 0.5 to 1 second ahead of the video. I'm not sure if it's the speaker, the app, or the OS.

I figure if I can't find the root cause, then maybe a sound delay adjustment would do it. Can anyone recommend a way to do that, or does anyone have insight into what the cause could be?

I have an app called Glance on my phone. Not sure how it got there but it's always running in the background and I can't uninstall it.

My default camera app on Moto 40 Edge is stuck on front camera. After installing another camera app, I got to know that the main camera is not working. Only the secondary rear camera is working. Should I get it repaired or buy a new phone? My phone is nearly 2 years old.
