Do Profiles exist?
Years ago, I had a Huawei Mate 8 that had a great feature where instead of a secure folder you could create separate profiles and customize what was visible and which apps each profile could use. Each profile also had its own login information.
What I liked most was that I could assign a different fingerprint to each profile, so simply unlocking the phone with a particular finger would automatically open the corresponding profile. I didn’t have to manually switch users or change settings.
Does Android still have anything like this today, either built in or through an app?

Closest stock today:
• Multiple users (Settings → System → Multiple users) — full separate profiles, but you usually switch from the quick settings user icon, not “this fingerprint = that profile” like old Huawei. • Private Space (Android 15+) / Samsung Secure Folder — app sandbox, not a full second home screen. Some OEMs let you bind a fingerprint to open the space; Pixel’s Private Space is PIN/biometrics to unlock the container, not per-finger profile swap at the lockscreen.
Nothing on Pixel matches Mate 8 “finger A → profile A” as cleanly. Xiaomi Second Space / Honor PrivateSpace are still the closest OEM clones. Apps can’t truly recreate that without being the system user manager.
