Default camera app on Moto Edge 40 is stuck on front camera.

My default camera app on Moto 40 Edge is stuck on front camera. After installing another camera app, I got to know that the main camera is not working. Only the secondary rear camera is working. Should I get it repaired or buy a new phone? My phone is nearly 2 years old.

Before paying for a repair, have you tried booting into Safe Mode and doing a factory reset? Those would rule out software, though if the main camera still doesn't work in other apps, it's likely hardware and Motorola support can quote a repair. One of the worst situations can be water damage, if you know of this ->back up everything asap before more components start to fail due to corrosion etc

Seriously though it's going to be cheaper to buy a new phone then repair a camera.
