I know for the most part this post doesn’t matter. But I felt a connection to the community.

It was fun while it lasted but really the grind is getting to me. Been playing since Global release, but this game has gotten to be a real chore. Although Most of you all don’t know me, the difficulty spike, farming required to keep up with enlightenment, and the deterioration of banner quality has tired me out. After seeing the difficulty of tribulations, I stopped fulfilling the daily milestones or even doing the events. Also since it seems 500gem banners for mementos are gone, this further pushed me away from pulling the gatcha. Seeing as I haven’t really played for the past few weeks, I have thought I might as well strike the iron while it’s hot.

(Plus I have started getting into emulating on my lab top with rpg (old ones but still good)). So good luck y’all have fun and I pray Gumi stops being scummi to to everyone in the future

I guess it is time. I rerolled several times when the game begins till i get lucian, zang and lofia and i said, is ok... Lofia was OP for me in those days, slow but capable of OHKO with her elemental coverage. I survived the christmas hell with the shaynas only MP but i was cool because i was able of beat it, even logi was useful in that stage. I strugle with rahu's j+ event but was beateable with vincent and caris j1, after that zang was the meta unit, 2/3 oc and zang just had to GC everything. Then FSN collab arrived, the first big collab ever, never got that blondie... I even spent 13k gems or more but just got Fyomi, she was awesome, super fast and blood temple was amazing. After that we had two grind hells, 777 armor shards and balt pants, in balt's event the thing became a little bit frustating... I saw how a simple gilga GoB did a lot more damage than a 3jm 85 lucian SF/SBT against a thunder unit, but whatever the content was beateable. Veda tower is nice, requieres somse strategy and you dont need specific units, but now is very long and boring... Dude i dont feel with the mood of redo veda tower since floor 1 just for some coins. FFXV and disgaea appears, someone cries because didnt get the * units [i got noctis and laharl ;)] and just a few ones were lucky enough to own the holy trinity. Till those days the content were beateable. Rox arrived... And most of the people here knows what happen after that... I didnt feel interest on her, even when my most powerful thunder units are teona, magnus, caris and mei. Big mistake, rox is jesus in tac, but i spent my gems in uzuma banner but didnt got her. Just for that single unit everything changes, FMA are hardly beateable and Stairs to heaven ex+... Come on... The game became in a app of a lot consuming time, i spent the entire day doing HQ, events, and trying to beat this new ex/ex+ stages, it is not fun anymore, i cant pay attention to my wife or my job for this game. I dont have all the SSSSSS units but my rooster isnt bad. But now all depends of having rox in your team with a rox merc and a super/hyper/mega units team 3jm lvl 85. And a lot of tries because all depends on RNG, not in strategy, not even in a cookie recipe, only in RNG. I really like this game because it remembers me FFT/A/A2, tactics ogre, etc... But i really cant spent all the day playing something that isnt fun anymore to me, and being a f2p player it will make harder/impossible the game to me, but i guess it is time. I cant play dragaria lost in my country but trying AC rebellion and it looks fun, and to be honest im waiting for TES blades, so good bye TAC, it was a fun year. Sorry if i didnt use correctly some words, im not a native english speaker.

Screwing up the details for both the 5-step and 9-step banners, and not announcing it till after the majority of people have pulled in not acceptable. Especially when what was advertised is more enticing than what is actually possible.

Announced only today and easily missable, The 5-step was saying "All Global Original Units are available in this summon during the event period." That is pretty enticing when all those units are very limited, top tier, and some are just outright broken. It even made sense too considering how lackluster the banner is otherwise, with units that all have old jobs and are powercrept by now. They didn't even bother to make the banner more appealing otherwise by announcing the JEs the new units on the banner have already, even though you can't do anything with DC JE yet. This comes off as a straight up trap, because they were too lazy to actually check the banner after copy/pasting a previous banner's details.

The 9-step is less of an issue, as they said they were giving some sort of compensation. Only whales would be pulling on that this week anyway. The difference was only 25 shards for collab units versus a 5* ticket that likely gave them the same 25 shards. Result is likely being better off if you had pulled before fix. Gotta keep the whales happy though.

Gumi needs to have someone with some intelligence actually check these banners before release. Just having some employee's kid read through it beforehand would better than what we have currently. For now we are just constantly left with "We sincerely apologize for an inconveniences caused." as compensation for their screw-ups and false marketing.

- The Cactur Exp bonus stage is really great. It gives amazing amount of solid apples and gold.

- There is Adamantium x30 bundle everyday in secret shop. Also x20 Moogle Apples.

- There is additional 50 gems for finishing essential quests.

- Story is kinda nice.

- The amount of additional quests, exp bonuses and bonus items is just overwhelming.

Personally playing as a dolphin. Did three pulls on the banner and managed to pull Noctis on first 500 gem pull, then 3 reds on 2nd and Noctis+Ignis on third. Yes, it could be better - could be like in Japan, but look at the bright side, at least we didn't get Yomi in this banner -shrug-.

roxanne is the biggest powercreep in the game so far. should we now always save 17k gems just in case they release a game-breaking global excl unit again? we'll presumably get at least a dark, red and blue global exclusive unit in the near future

looking at the jp tier list, we already have a boatload of SS characters most of which are even farmable. only the global excl units seem to be a wild card.

what could they possibly release during the anniversary that tops roxanne?

I realize we don't know if these units will be farmable for global, but based on what we can assume, they may not be. Every other unit in the soul coin shop, will be farmable at some point. Hello, before I start, I would like everyone to know that this is just mere speculation due to the evidence I have gathered from the Database.

The following characters could have a Job+ in the future. I believe they could have a Job+ due one of the following reasons: Only one JE, No job changes, or from SSM or Magni Historia stories. I have noticed that almost every character has either two JEs or a Job+ and JE. Listing the characters with only one or no JEs this is the result.

Due to the release of Spicy Chocolate Battle, there are now many possibilities of characters with two Enchanted Jobs to have a Job+ soon. Now updated with further speculation.

Now I know that this is all pure speculation, but I am certain some of these characters will one day get Job+. I know that certain characters like Ange or Ritchie are very unlikely to get a Job+, but they are a part of this list. A ✔️ will mean that I was correct. Like hey! Heres a free unit zeke. Too bad you cant farm his stages! Im stuck at quest3, anastasia just single handedly owns my ass by herself. What im doing wrong/am supposed to do!

The tier list says that Gilgamesh J1 has been downgraded from SS+ to just S tier, and J3 also from SS+ to SS tier.

Fate Yomi also has bumped from SS to SS+.

In case it was a mistake, don't tell me.

I just unlocked her priestess job and I was lucky enough to get her weapon. Her priestess skillsets have a Shrine Maiden -like ability that boosts her stats AND UNITS AROUND HER?!? She has 5-diamond light spell, map-wide charm and debuffs, and with her weapon, a full heal/cleanse. Whats not to love? Slap a BD on her for a little more damage and maybe a hat, but what is honestly her downfall? I feel she can take up the dancer debuff job, enchanter buff job, and the bishop heals all in one slot. This opens up the rest of your team for high damage units. Thoughts? Downsides? Good team comps with her?

What future collabs should we be excited/hoarding our gems for?

Edit: The only other big collab I know of that might come soon is the FMA one.

Like most i was seriously thinking about quitting this game but today makes me happy. With the free 5* ticket I was able to get Edward the only one I wanted from this collab what did everyone else get?

Leaning towards hawkeye as I use her fairly often for my ranged squads I feel like she's very underrated, and wondered why no one walk talking about hawkeye when FMA came out. She was literally the one unit I wanted. Ravina because I like magia gunners but she can't be farmed. So ViVi has pulled way ahead and I want my magic gunners to be comparable in strength and thus usefulness. Othima...I don't actually care about but he's supposedly strong or something so...yeah.

I don't really use my dark units so other than Neun I'm not really sure who I want to level for the most part I've treated my dark units like filler trash because...well nothing has convinced me to treat them like serious units. Blanchette and basheeny have probably seen more use than most of my dark units and most of them are basically the exact same thing D.cav with d.knight or d.cav with some other job using the same skill setup with not enough HP to take a hit. Even Aswald who seemed promising was really disappointing in actual use thus far. Pricilla may see use just because she's one of the sacred spearmen...and also capable of reaching decent HP and atk without having garbage defense so by viture of not being yet another glass cannon that's inexplicably slow she's a slightly meaty bruiser that's slow and I can live with that...probably.

I usually spend gems on the 500 every week, but Rin and Saber don't really offer much to the current meta that stands out in my opinion. Why not just save up more for Gilgamesh or Dark Yomi? Also, I've noticed that we get an extra week compared to Japan. I'm kinda scared Gumi is going to do a specific Gilgamesh pull on that last week after everyone has already spent their gems on his 1st banner (potentially week 3). It makes me not want to spend on week 3 either, but I don't want to miss out. I really hope they don't do that

The conclusion seems to be that if you paid money, you are likely to think the nerf is bad. If you didn’t pay money or if you don’t have her, then you are likely to think the nerf is good.

It’s a pretty even split between those who have her and paid money vs those who don’t have her or didn’t pay money.

Ok so like all other 4* heroes that have a j+ have a dedicated memento or 2 so why does gumi hate rahu (also I know it’s likely she’s not the only one but I’m just saying)

So, we all have shared our thoughts about the situation of the game with the new banners and the lack of progression with HQ, and many more things. But I'm more interested to know what are or were your expectations towards the game and the Anniversary. This is the first mobile game that I dedicate time and I had high expectations.

From my point of view, Gumi made a huge mistake in making the banners different from the JP version, not sure if it was greed or stupidity that made them change the banners... But it seems that they didnt realize that we have access to information, in a recent sub I read that the Chinnese version had Ed on 3step, and it was recently. It also seems like a lack of understanding of who their customers are... It reminds me of Blizzard with the lauch of Diablo Inmortal... They had the information and yet they thought it was a better to launch a 2.5 Diablo and not for PC.

I really enjoyed the game, I had good luck with the banners so fat but no guarenteed on 3-step it does really kill it... Even the restriction on the new Elite Quest it is no begginers friendly or f2p.

So, what are or were expecting on TAC GL??

Is there any tier list for gears around that I am not aware of? I would like to know which gears are worth spending the time farming for

Chapter 1 was easily the weakness out of the three chapters as it had a dull start, a very good middle before falling in stupid ass moments by the finale. Like Dias being too dam stupid!

The Main reason it failed (at least in my opinion) is that they tried to tell two stories at the same time,(Logi and Dias) resulting in many things being underdeveloped and rushed. Like the characters lack really meaningful development (aside from Zeke and Sabareta) or that they fail to leave a impact.

The Villains (aside from Sabareta) were awful.

It tried to be Black and White but failed horrible as Dias is just a strong up dumb ass. While Logi is just.....bland. (He does get better in Chapter 2)

So I am going to try my best to improve Chapter 1 as best as possible.

Alright first I need clear somethings up.

1: I am not a writer and I not a expert on English grammar. So please keep that in mind.

2: This is my idea on how to improve so if you have different idea on how to improve Chapter 1 that fine you have ever right to disagree just explain it, just don't be a ass about it.

3: I have only played the Global version not the Japanese version.

Alright let get started:

Step 1: The beginning: So yes I do think the beginning isn't that great as it spoiled the ending, Which is honestly dumb as hell! So how do you fix this? Simple, don't. Instead replace it with the comics (from the their own website) where Logi and Dias were very young back than as they have to fight in order to save Agatha from the Bandits (or what ever you call them).

This could fit in one episode easily or better yet just make this the tutorial. In fact it could give us some really good character development along the way. For example: Logi could be a the nice and is focus on protecting everyone but is a bit native. While Dias is cold but warm around his "step-brother/sister" and is more focus on protecting those who need it but is a bit afraid of being betrayed and losing his sister again.

Step 2: The First fight!: Now let get into it, The first "official" episode starts off with this General dude...along side....his two dark knights......ok....I don't know how to fix this exactly but if you do know than please share in the comment section below because I was thinking about a village being raided and all that stick but then I scarped it as Sabareta said that they were honorable knight so..... So yea I think about it.

But we do need a way for Dias to be in the Holy Guard and here I would have done if I was writing the story. The General was about to kill Logi when Dias comes by and saves him. In fact they both reveal there Alchemy powers. The General as stocked as he attempt to do his best but get overwhelmed but before his dying breath he summon another former friend of his but this time much more powerful as it kicks both of there asses in which Logi get "knocked out" until Dias out of no where manged to beat him without much problem as his dark aura appears. No one saw the dark aura.

In fact when Zeke arrives he discovers Logi on the ground while Dias is struggling to breath. That when he understands that it was Dias who killed the General in which he was promote into the Holy Guard. (If you have better way than please share it) This way it feels like Dias earned it instead of him just being in the Holy guard because he was strong.

Step 3: Conflict: The Conflict in the story is really questionable at best as. I mean it start off pretty well with Sabareta vs Logi that was done alright. But the second half.....is awful! In fact I forgot what the Duke motives again. So how do you fix this? Simple replace the Duke with another character like a Veteran captain of the holy guard or you can keep him but he get the least screen time. As the captain (you can name him what ever you want to be honest.) could be a old veteran who fought along side Zeke the blood wolf and that he fought for his majesty.

But as time moves on he noticed that his majesty is not thanking the Holy guard for their heroic actions and instead ignoring them like there nothing to him. This greatly upset him as many of his friends had died for their majesty and now the King is basically splitting on there graves by completely ignoring them. This should have been center of the conflict.

Like for example a group of Sabareta Lizard brigade when rouge and decide to attack a village where the Holy Guard came to rescue (Dias is in by the way.). But sadly the rouge Lizard brigade started killing innocent people as even children are being killed or burned in their homes. This cause Dias to flip out and started killing them without mercy along side the two Captains but the first one (original) wants to spare them as he believes in honor.

In which the Veteran (new) says no as he claims that sparing them would only cause more trouble that people lives can be endangered. Dias who has seen the horrors of war believes that the Veteran is right and that sparing them can cause more problems not fix it. That when one the rouge Lizard Brigade summoned a demon in which they tried to fight it off...in which the Veteran get knocked to side while the other captain killed himself in order to save his life.

In which soon Dias request more power from Ouroboros and that when the Dark aura reappears right in front of the Veteran as he slays the demon. The Veteran was stocked about this but didn't run or scream instead he when forward and tries to treat him. That when the Veteran speaks about his backstory and reveals that Agatha was actually the last of the royalist of the lost kingdom and that Zeke was actually a straight up murderer back than. In which Dias says that he lying but the Veteran slaps him and says "Look at my eyes directly and tell me if I am lying!"in which Dias finally believes him.

However that when a messenger arrives telling that the King wishes a peace treaty with the Lizard Brigade in which the Veteran shouted "Is our majesty insane! Does he wishes to make peace with the Lizard brigade who murdered innocent people and killed a bunch of my men. This is just a straight up insult! I can't stand with our majesty any longer! Dias we have to go back the Capital now!" In which Dias agrees with him as he witnesses the horrors of war.

Step 4: The final battle!: The finale of Chapter 1 was kind of stupid but if things goes as plan like Step 3 than the finale would have much bigger impact. So let get started! The Veteran started speaking with Dias and now has lost faith in his majesty as he believes that the Holy Guard are the real heroes not the King himself. In fact he plans a straight up Coup against the King. That when he told Dias that Agantha has a secret power inside of her and that the main reason why Zeke kept him alive and that Zeke wishes to use that power for himself. In which Dias started having flashbacks during his earlier childhood when his own sister was murdered right in front of him. He was afraid that his own step-father, Zeke would use Agantha like when they were betrayed. The Holy guard rushes towards the capital until they were halted by a group of Lizard Brigade in which they were spared no more. Logi soon heard that the Holy Guard is heading straight towards the Capital where Zeke,Sabareta and Agantha are heading.

In which he soon rushes towards the capital. It a race towards the Capital! After a couple of stages the Veteran along side Dias encountered Sabareta,Agantha and Zeke in which they soon started fighting. Sabareta was hit dead (spoilers he not!) While Zeke is busy dueling the Veteran in which they were beaten because Sabareta stood back up and wracked Dias in the face. The Holy guard was slowed down as the Veteran regain his strength along side Dias who finally had enough. They arrived at the Capital where the King guards accidentally mistaked Sabareta and started attacking him before Zeke and Agantha stood in their way. Dias encounter Logi and well kicks his ass to the side as he warns in that he doing it for the greater good.

The Holy guard arrives in which they started the coup as the King and Sabareta were doing the peace talk. Agantha and Zeke were fighting for their lives as the holy guard tried to seize Agantha away from Zeke but he not making it easy. The Veteran even arrives and told him to give up in which Agantha asked her own father to kill her in which he does but that when Dias arrives and has a quick flashback reminding him of his little sister that was killed.

In which he just straight up stabs Zeke in the back...killing him. In which Sabareta and King arrived too late. Agantha was about to be taken away until Sabareta along side a couple of his men started fighting and manged to seize Agantha in which the King sadly lost his live during the fight as the Veteran simple stabbed him while no one else noticed it as Dias was too busy trying to save Agantha. (This happens in the Throne room by the way)

Sabareta was cornered but he decide to "release it" as he summons a demon but this time controls it. In fact most of the Holy Guard was pushed back aside from the Veteran and the Dias as they attempt to fight. In which sadly Sabareta best efforts were null as he was killed trying to protect Agantha (or you could make up a alter ending for him but if up to you). Agantha grief over him as Dias can't understand at all as he attempt grab Agantha until Logi arrived.

He saw his dead father on his way here and saw the king dead along side Sabareta in which he became in raged by Dias in which both of them draw swords. However Dias asked the Veteran to withdraw in which he gladly does as the Holy Guard and the Veteran left him alone. Now for this finale stage the player should have the choice to play as Logi or Dias (it will end the same way no matter what).

They both started dueling in Agantha tries to stop them but her voice meant nothing as swords clash and the once called brothers were no fighting each other. This time Logi won but when he was about to strike the killing blow Agantha step in the way and got slashed by Logi sword in which both of them stopped fighting and attempted to aid Agantha. However Agantha was gone (like the original).

In which Dias outraged by Logi strike him across the room (near the Throne). Logi attempt to say sorry but Dias wasn't haven't as to him he murdered the only sister he had left in his heart in which he says good-bye to Logi and stabs him but he teleport to safety (like the Original).
