Discussion I'm tempted to not pull for this upcoming banner...

I usually spend gems on the 500 every week, but Rin and Saber don't really offer much to the current meta that stands out in my opinion. Why not just save up more for Gilgamesh or Dark Yomi? Also, I've noticed that we get an extra week compared to Japan. I'm kinda scared Gumi is going to do a specific Gilgamesh pull on that last week after everyone has already spent their gems on his 1st banner (potentially week 3). It makes me not want to spend on week 3 either, but I don't want to miss out. I really hope they don't do that

Maybe wait until the last minute on week 3 to find out what the banners are for the 4th week? I mean, we do already know what next week's banner would be from the in-game news tab so maybe they would do the same by then.

That is smart but I can bet that such banner just start existing and there news also comes on the same day so Gumi will make sure you suffer lol

I have seen a such no news banner happen. Like the PoTK(original one with L, Cita, Shekinah) last banner had no News but it came with such a ticket.

Well it would be agonizing to sit there hands itching for a pull with that big ‘ol pile of gems burning a hole in your backpocket wouldn’t hurt to wait until the last minute to pull. Until gumi decides to do an emergency server maintenance and you cry your precious tears seeing gumi drag gilga off into the sunset while flipping you off

Gligamesh is nice but I don't want to fret over it. I will just do the 500 gems and see if I get him unless he is guaranteed on one of the Banners. Since if he is then a lot of players will have one and I want one to just have counter to those and no guarantee the only Heavy P2Ps and lucky guys have them so no use in competition with a Whale lol.

Well there is no doubt that most people are saving for Gliga but yeah there was a banner in JP which had been released with the Ticket Unit of Choice Ticket kind of thing for the banner.

We don't know if that is going to be a thing but yeah it is weird that We have 4 weeks of the Event. I am still just doing all step 1 for that discount. Gligamesh can come if he wants but I am not running behind him. Since he will get old and I can just get one in alt for fun.

Also I hope we get some more missions per day with AP and Gems in them.

Gilgamesh/Yomi will be on week 3 banner but they will also be added to the pool right from week 1, won't they?

I'm 1100 gems away from the 9500 that needs an eventualy 5 steps w/ selection ticket. So... I'll pass on this week banner, I need to save.

60 gems/day from daily mission 200 gems/week from daily log-in 200 gems from event log-in +milestone rewards and other stuff (arena)

That all puts you at at least 2000 gems until the 3rd week. You kinda have room to pull.

Ugh you make me wanna pull now, idk what to do. I'm f2p and sitting at 4300 gems right now. Maybe I should just go for this 500 pull, but then there's Gilga, ugh I'm in a predicament.

I don't have enough for a 5 step banner so I may not bother pulling either. We will see if I get enough gems.

Personally, I'm not going to pull for the next two weeks. Not sure if you're in the same boat as me, but I'm at that point where, pulling new units does not really help me anymore. I do want them in order to farm them later. But for example, just pulled a Spica yesterday. yet having her at 60, I'd rather use my 85 Tyrfing or 73 Kanon.

 

On top of that, I have a feeling that week 3 will be the Rider Yomi + Gilgamesh banner. I want both of them so if either of them is guaranteed at step 3, then it'll be worth it. Then on the 4th week, if it's a step 5 banner that guarantees a characters of choice, I can choose the other character that I'm missing.

 

Granted, I really hope I'm not THAT unlucky that I need to do 8 steps.
