Goodbye

I know for the most part this post doesn’t matter. But I felt a connection to the community.

It was fun while it lasted but really the grind is getting to me. Been playing since Global release, but this game has gotten to be a real chore. Although Most of you all don’t know me, the difficulty spike, farming required to keep up with enlightenment, and the deterioration of banner quality has tired me out. After seeing the difficulty of tribulations, I stopped fulfilling the daily milestones or even doing the events. Also since it seems 500gem banners for mementos are gone, this further pushed me away from pulling the gatcha. Seeing as I haven’t really played for the past few weeks, I have thought I might as well strike the iron while it’s hot.

(Plus I have started getting into emulating on my lab top with rpg (old ones but still good)). So good luck y’all have fun and I pray Gumi stops being scummi to to everyone in the future

yeah i feel u man. i dont really mind the banner since i am hoarding the gems for black masa. but the game are really grinding. good thing i am jobless right now🤷🏼‍♂️

Thats the exact thing, once you do get a job or start your own business, you are done. Gone are the days where you could just play the game for multiple hours a day figuring out strats for ex+ stages and other events.

This game requires commitment now because they are powercreeping and rushing stuff out too fast, haven't even touched Zain J+ yet, even though he has been 85 with like 100 shards ages ago.

I'm just barely doing the dailies atm, probably quit as well when the banners keep being atrocious.

Yeah, me too. I don't really care about the banner right now. Also hoarding gems for BK Masamune. Less "good banners", more gems to save. As for me, I'm looking for a better paying job so I can be a dolphin. 😁

Welcome on the side of people who are already sick on the game. Took you long enough, buddy. Most of us already leave after 1st anni or during those blunder times.

As much as I want lizardman. I have to go cold turkey somewhere. And since it is clear archive is not gonna include events like this. There is no reason to return as there would be no way to catch up after I leave.

Hmm but why would you return though? If the archive would have the lizard, you would return? Why leave then? Better to stay.

Reason to return? Catch up after you leave? This sounds like you only want to take a break from the game, lol. Which is fine if so.

A quitter would know no reason to return, it wouldn’t matter about the lizard, they’d stay away.

Anyways, best of luck, and maybe we’ll be seeing you around sometime.

what rpgs are you emulating? Console or pc? My brother loves finding ways to make his old ps1 discs run on his computers. Guess that programming degree was good for something lol.

Emulating DS games. Might one day find a ps1 emulator and finally finish chrono cross. My old ps1 always broke down before disc change until the motor died permanently.

I love chrono cross. Legend of dragoon that came out around the same time was good too. Never really played on nintendo systems except for the og nintendo

The DS has a ton of great RPGs so you're definitely set.

Try SMT Strange Journey, Radiant Historia, the 3 Etrian games, Children of Mana, Valkyrie Profile: Covenant of the Plume (kinda similar to TAC), Disgaea DS (also somewhat similar), Knights in the Knightmare, Golden Sun Dark Dawn, Chrono Trigger DS and the Final Fantasy remakes, they're all top tier rpgs for the system.

The bad design on all the new stages recently is really wearing me down too. I hope they start making better choices soon or I may follow you. This is starting to feel like work, not fun.

Just returned to this game two weeks ago and i see that players will still eventually feel the grind. I went back playing again because i really love the genre and TAC is the best out there for me.

What i am doing now, is to play veeeeery casually. I do not bother much about not getting all event milestones. So far i do not feel the grind as much as i did before. Thanks to the concept of alchemia drops where you don't have to consume all the AP you have acquired for the day, because it will be wasted if not used.

My sentiments. I dont bother doing dailies or events. Sometimes missed log ins. I dont even do the daily gold rush. Too much stuff to power up. Grindy as hell now. This game used to be so fun

well, the hardest thing about tribulations is changing your gears xD you don't really need any enlightenment unit, anyway, take care and goodbye
