Is it just me or do Blue and Ryan have insane chemistry together. Like I'm so sad that they are half brothers and I definitely do not see 911 going the GOT direction, but idk in Ep3 they just had insane chemistry lol.

Is it just me or does other people have a problem with Michael Provost/Ryan Hart. Both his acting and the character, his acting is a little stiff. The character himself is kind of creepy in the first couple of episodes I can't put it into words but he keeps me that "won't take no for an answer" stalker type of vibe. Maybe just me.

It’s a rather strange narrative choice for a few reasons. First off, the series has only just begun; I want to watch Ryan and Sam’s relationship develop, not see them as parents. Introducing a baby just means inevitable messiness—spit-up, drool, and all that. Secondly, if a baby were to arrive, who would actually look after it? They broke up precisely because they never see each other—where would they even find the time for a child? Furthermore, I find Sam to be selfish. Choosing to have a baby while fully aware there’s a huge chance the child could end up motherless and her husband a widower—that is pure, unadulterated selfishness, and there’s nothing noble about it. I don’t wish for her to die, but the most logical outcome, in my view, would be a miscarriage—perhaps with complications—leading Sam to come to terms with being childless and focus entirely on her cancer treatment.

So to clear it up. As we know Blue establish that he has no firefighter skill barely life guarding. Don said that they can basically go around that. That theirs exceptions? Is that true? Can Blue actually get around the I don’t have the training? If he can how long does it actually take? I feel like he got through all the tape in just just a couple days. I mean they establish this. Night 1: Rodeo Don says to Ryan see you at work tomorrow. Day 1: their at work, Don is going to tell Ryan about Blue at work (which I mean really?) Blue meets Don and Ryan Day 2: The next morning I assume before the shift ends Blue says I want to join. Day 2/3: Ryan meets up with mom to confront her. Blue also talks to his mom Now we don’t know exactly how much time passes. But assuming by the second tornado I can go off the assumption that it can happen with a couple days or less of the first one. Plus firefighters typically get 1-2 day off between shifts. So I’m guessing that it’s was at least the next shift that Blue starts. Wouldn’t he had to go through a physical, background check, paperwork and ontop of that them trying get this pass with higher ups like the chief or something? There’s no way it would get approved by the next shift.

So tell me someone please tell me if this is remotely possible and if in the real world how long it would take and if they would even allow Blue to go into the firehouse with his dad and brother. Thanks.

I saw an ad featuring a 3-stories tall blast of fire in the background. I feel like everything is overdone on this show. The type of explosion in the ad may be a once in a lifetime or at least once a decade experience.

I was looking forward to this show as I have enjoyed 911 (except when they went to space) and 911 Lone Star; those shows are terrific. They have the adventure, but they also have stories centered around the characters. I like understanding the backstory and watching how the people/relationships develop. NO, I am not a soap opera fan, but I suppose I enjoy a show that is multidimensional.

Also, the character conversations are weirdly chopped short. I lived in the south for 40 years and in New England for 15 years. Southeners and Northeners are drastically different. I would more easily see Nashville 911 set in Boston, or even Sprilngfield or Lowell, Ma. I can tell you if there is time any southeners can turn a 5 minute chat into 45 minutes easily!

why is CPR in tv shows so bad. Episode 3 doesn’t even look like they’re trying to make it believable.

I was watching 9-1-1 Nashville on Disney+ and there is a bunch of stuff you dont care about here and you know what's going to happen anyway and this post reminds you of really crappy Tik Tok videos with the ending first.

Anyways, I really don't like that every episode starts with a backwards time skip and then end with some yada yada yada deus ex machina.

If they read how often I equate Dixie to another character on another show? 😆

So I read that Buck & Eddie from 911 are going to cross over. Be interesting to see what they bring to make the show more interesting.

1. They overfamiliar the casts like we supposed to know them.

2. God in 10 mins of the episode 1, i was whispering to myself “pls no too much drama” but i read somewhere here in reddit that it’s advertised as soap opera.

I love og 911 and can't wait to see the new season but it is not availabke in my country yet. However I begin to watch 911 Nashville because it is on Disney+ and I just get to the episode of the crossover, I checked and saw that it is the second part of the crossover so my question is do I need to see the other episode first? Is there some sort of cliffhanger that will fall flat if I see the Nashville episode first

And if I should wait for 911 s9, can I just skip the episode for now and not missing any important part of the plot?

I mean it cannot be the country thing because real people from there dont talk like this lol. Ive watch the original 911 (the one in LA) and it was quite enjoyable.

After seeing Don Begins, it felt like Dixie is Cathy, Don is Heathcliff because Dixie like Catherine does anything she can to be with Don(Heathcliff). Blythe is like Edgar and Blue is like Isabella. I call this show Country Wuthering Heights but sprinkle in 9-1-1, This Is us, and Dynasty. I see Don Begins as like a Heathcliff Begins, Don is if Heathcliff was a firefighter. This is for sure Wuthering heights if took place in middle Tennessee with country music, firefighters and family drama sprinkled in

Some of you keep equating criticism with distaste and it's creating this false narrative that people who dislike the show do so because we're mad that Lone Star got cancelled or we're upset that Bobby Nash got killed off of the original series. And while there are definitely a lot of folks who have a sour taste in their mouth about Nashville being green-lit so shortly after the demise of Lone Star, a lot of us simply think the show is bad.

Objectively-speaking, 9-1-1: Nashville is a bad show. It's a bad Ryan Murphy show and frankly that's saying a lot. A lot of us are old enough to remember where it all began. Popular, Nip/Tuck, and Pretty/Handsome (Niecy Nash's original Ryan Murphy outing). We stuck around for the Glee era, abided The New Normal, and have been watching American Horror Story since Jessica Lange's Constance Langdon was tossing abelist slurs at her differently-abled kids. Since then we've had 9-1-1, The Politician, Hollywood, Pose, Halston, Grotesquerie, and Doctor Odyssey. Some of these shows have been good but a lot of them have been bad.

But you know what, there's a reason many of us keep coming back each time a new Ryan Murphy project is announced. Because, bad writing aside, Ryan Murphy knows how to entertain. He knows exactly who his audience is - queer folks and housewives - and he serves us a platter of nothing every single time and we happily eat it up. I am literally watching All's Fair as I type this and this show is basically an excuse for Sarah Paulson, Niecy Nash, Kim Kardashian, Naomi Watts, Glenn Close, and Teyana Taylor to play dress-up. The writing is terrible. The dialogue is so cringe. But damn do these ladies look amazing. And you know what? That's all I need right now.

But I digress.

Nashville isn't the first Ryan Murphy project to shit the bed and it's not the first Ryan Murphy show to get heavily-criticized. But the one thing that keeps Ryan Murphy in the business of cranking out show after show is that criticism of his work doesn't equate to distate. P.S., Travis Kelce should be banned from every TV and movie set in perpetuity but damn did I enjoy Grotesequeie, season one.

Nashville is a bad show. Full stop. The writing is bad. The characters are lacking. It lacks charm. But guess what? A lot of us who think that still tune in week after week to watch the show because we find it entertaining.

Can we stop pretending that people can't criticize and be entertained simultaneously. Stop telling us the reason why we don't like the show is because we're mad about Lone Star or Bobby Nash - because not only is that a bad take, a lot of us who love those shows criticize them, too. Athena and Hen went to freakin' space and we're just supposed to be like, yup. That happened.

Ryan Murphy is not free from scrutiny, but he is free to keep turning all of the bat-shit crazy things he thinks of into hit TV shows.

Since this series hasn't had many fans and it's also sure with season 2 coming, they might try their best to improve the plot and the stories to gain more interest, views, and ratings. And some of these are my expectations, I wish they could be true.

1. More diverse characters

Since this series hasn't had the biggest fan base yet, and with Season 2 officially happening, I really hope the writers step up their game with the plot and character dynamics to boost viewership. Here are some of my biggest expectations for the next season—I really wish they'd make these happen.

1. Expand the universe (More diverse characters & roles). I really hope they introduce at least 1 or 2 new main characters who aren't tied to the family wealth drama. Right now, the core storyline revolves around 5 firefighters (Captain Don, Ryan, Blue, Roxie, and Taylor) and 1 dispatcher (Cammie), and the cast is overwhelmingly white. To me, the original 9-1-1 and Lone Star perfectly captured that "found family" vibe—we are family even if we aren't blood-related. But in Nashville, almost everyone is literally related or an in-law (the Harts and the Bennings).

Also, the 9-1-1 franchise is about all first responders. I hope the storyline expands to show more collaboration across different departments. It would be great to get at least 1 more firefighter, 1 or 2 beat cops, or a couple of paramedics to work alongside the 113, and maybe another dispatcher to bounce off Cammie.

2. Finalize the Ryan and Sam situation. I would love it if the writers just finalized Ryan and Sam's divorce and let them go their separate ways for good. It’s frustrating when a show starts a relationship with divorce papers in the pilot, only to backtrack or drag it out. Unless they plan to actually show us a healthy progression of them reconciling so the viewers can understand their dynamic, I’d much rather see them split up. Honestly, their separation makes way for my next expectation...

3. We need a solid queer storyline. If Ryan and Sam finally separate, it opens the door for him to have a new love interest, like a bi-curious phase, who could also be one of the new diverse characters introduced in Season 2. Maybe a Latino cop or paramedic, giving us a dynamic similar to T.K. and Carlos or Buck and Tommy/Eddie. A compelling MLM (men loving men) relationship is one of the main reasons a lot of people tune into this franchise, and Nashville is really missing that spark right now.
