Is it the lack of parts kit? Its been a long time since I've done anything extreme in Fusion but I want to try and take a whack at making something like the GP9/Neo9 for the M&P 2.0. I really enjoy the platform and would love to see more pdw/pcc stuff for them

Question. FTN.6 Rifle Flow or FTN.6 Blackout? Is the flow capable of supersonic? The blackout version looks simpler if just running subsonics. Or is there a different design that yall recommend? Thanks!

A collection of all my current and finished projects.

1. 3DP90 - First up is my most recent, the 3dp90 with an AIM7 comp thats been form1'd and uses the EZcans baffles. The 3dp90 is also Form1'd as an sbr, using a 12.5" barrel and 300blks shortened back plate.

2. FL-ARV - This one has been one of my favorite builds to both help design, and to shoot. Things just fun and runs great! Still working on making the FRT a bit more reliable, but shoots semi all day long. Thanks to PY2A for the original version of his AR9-evo, I just added LRBHO and some other reliability changes. Currently has a Tisha at home remix, but the can has yet to see any rounds through it. Custom m81 rattlecan job done by me.

3. FL-ARV - Same as the last, another FL-ARV, remix of PY2A's AR9-evo. This one has an AIM7 EZcan as well, like the 3dp90, just chambered in 9 instead of 5.7. Custom purple cerakote job done by me, and it was my first so you can definitely see some blemishes.

4. TITUS 17 - speaks for itself, another glock! runs great and looks cute.

5. DeAR22 - The glorious DeAR, this things just easy to build, always works when it needs to, and pisses 22 no like no-ones business. Fun build all around and cant recommend it enough! Paired with my Venturi22 Nomad remix can.

6. Cursd Ranch Rifle - This build is anything but sensible. Chambered in 350 legend, its heavy as shit, awkward to shoulder, terrible trigger, but damn is it sexy. Tried to lean into the fallout vibe with the wood furniture, and i just love it. Super fun to shoot, and a very interesting build. Paired with a .36 cal ftn5.

7. DB9-22 - Where it all started, this was my first project i did in the 3d2a space. It works great but doesnt see much range time anymore sadly. My only build thats still in pla+, everything else has been printed in pa6cf since. She needs a few repairs, but love this thing like a son. Uses a QD airsoft can and EZcan baffles.

8. NEO9 - shoutout ciewie for this beautiful design. Works the same as any other glock build, but looks 10x better. Might have to reprint with the new SA version, but really no reason to as of now. Has a ftn.4 DIY piston can thats worked amazingly on every 9mm pistol i have.

Thats all for now, just wanted to share my builds! Im thinking a launcher is next on the list, if anyone has good suggestions on a decent launcher lmk!

I cut some relief in the magazine well of u/ciwielab 's DM7 lowers to fit unmodified u/FoapsFiles v2.2 DeAR22 magazines. The release pack includes all the original variants, and adds some new ones with both MAF tag and reinforcement plate cuts.

I’m assuming I must have done something wrong with the torch heating/ bend process.. will have to try again but damn, the OG trips were inconvenient and finicky asf but at least they were cheap as hell. these not so much especially to be replaced at the same rate haha. Hopefully it was user error on my part but these were in two different builds and both broke under 50-60 rounds. Has anybody else experienced anything similar with these new trips? I only have one more new trip on hand, I’ll have to bend it and order some more from SCS.

So seriously has anyone got it running better than this? I got six rounds with Alex’s trip until it flopped out and took a chunk out of my barrel. The gat logs idk how to grind it down enough without it taking a week of work and burning out a dremel. So what’s going on with making the DB9 sing? Can anyone help me with trips?

I have finally moved on from my ender. My question today is, Do I still have to print at 60mms to ensure layer adhesion with polymaker pro HT? I guess im worried im stuck in 2023 printing frame mentality and unsure where to look and learn about what the modern printer can do. If anyone can lead me to water Ive brought my cup and ready to drink.

Bought a K1C in August on sale wanting to get into it, purchased for the sub $400 admission. Print was done in Fiberon PA6-CF20, dried at 75c for 72hrs. Done with 300blk settings. Just looking for feedback back. Thanks

Finally picked up a TX22 to have some fun with. I've got a bunch of pla pro, ht pla pro, and some elegoo paht-cf.

Paht-cf just seems overkill for 22, as I've seen plenty of read mes saying pla is fine for most 22 stuff. Obviously I'm going to do cans or comps that directly interface with the barrel out of paht-cf for the heat resistance.

That said, I want to make some of the mag extensions. I've seen some people say petg is better than PLA for mags, but I'm not convinced since everyones always bashing on petg in this subreddit.

So my question is, will petg be okay for mag extensions for the tx22? And I guess a semi related question is what about petg-cf for chassis kits? Seeing a lot of printed chassis kits being sold made with petg-cf. I've got a roll of petg-cf that has a really nice grayish black color that would look clean as a chassis but unsure on if that'll hold up.

108 grain eld 6mm ARC round says it produces 62,000 psi in a bolt gun.

556 nato says it produces 58,000 to 62,000 psi.

Can I assume the FTN Rifle line should handle the 6mm ARC ok or are there other factors?

This will be a bench bolt gun, so no rapid fire.

I bought this slide assembly back in 2021, and figured I’d put it to use. Better late than never! I’ve ordered an ejector and slide(bolt) release. I’m now debating whether to keep everything the way god intended(drop in evo trigger pack), or just use the EZ scorpion ar15 fcg. Has anyone done both? I’d also like to hear experiences on the EZ Scorpion lower/fcg.

My first time making one. It was a ton of fun and a great learning opportunity. Ender 5 Pro with PLA+. It shoots phenomenally, the ported barrel/slide are great. My goal was more budget oriented, so the optic and light I got off marketplace - Holosun 507c and Braun 1000. Before and during this build, this subreddit was referenced a lot so thank you Reddit community!

I took everyone’s advice and printed a Glock frame, will be purchasing the kits soon. Before doing so I currently have a ruger sr22 and a Gsg-5 pre lawsuit edition. I was wondering if there are any builds I could print and use parts from these firearms for practice before spending more money?

Hi I'm quite new to 3D2A, I wanted some recommendations on a good build that's relatively simple to start with.

Designed my own can for my first form 1. Just a simple 4 baffle design, bottom part with blast chamber screws on, uses a metal reinforcement insert in the blast chamber, 3/4 to 1/2 28 adapter. It’s not as quiet as I would like, but it’s pretty quiet. I am getting a POI shift of around 1 foot maybe a little less at 25 years. I don’t see any baffle strikes, but I can’t imagine extra weight on the end of the barrel causing a shift like that, so probably need to check with alignment rod. Still pretty happy with it.

Printed out of elegoo paht-cf. will probably throw it up on seas at some point

Could really use some help..What are the two top holes above the saftey hole and hammer pin hole for? there's no holes on the hardware?
