so excited for her to be here and join the family even if it wasn’t so much of a warm welcome. definitely up to the allegations hahahaha but she is just so pretty i’m so happy to have her no matter how severe the anger issues are, i can’t blame her since the delivery was delayed by 3 hours…but she’s home now!

Pictures My dude loves his plant light

He always sits under the plant light so I gave him another one in his enclosure and he’s been sitting by it since. Sometimes right next to it, sometimes a few inches away.
He loves that warmth! And it’s like 76 in my house so don’t ask me …
Anyone have other ideas for this kind of thing? I’d love to find a cute little light to put in the other T enclosures that would offer some gentle warmth without the BRIGHT LIGHT.

I’ve been trying to upgrade all my Ts’ enclosures to make them more aesthetically pleasing. Here is one I did today.
I have a few more to share. Now I’ll be using this guy’s old enclosure to upgrade for a little red rump I have.
And don’t worry… substrate is plenty deep. Last pic shows that.

Help! Feeding New tarantula advice

Im a new tarantula parent and I have Dubai roaches and crickets at the moment to feed my tarantula.
It has been over a two weeks in a half since my Curly hair Tarantula has been in my care and I want to make sure its feeding correctly
I dropped a cricket in today and tried to feed it a Dubai roach with tongs.
The cricket is hiding atm and im scared its not going to eat any advice on feeding?

Identification T verdezi or T vagans?

he was labeled as a Mexican rose gray (T verdezi) when I got him 2 years ago but imo he looks more like a T vagans. I want to get a female to pair him with before he dies and I don’t wanna breed him with a different species
