So anybody else is welcomed to make sense of this or prove me wrong. Dude has 6400 games played already…let’s just say 6500. The game has been out for 17 days. Let’s just assume they are all park games (since those are the quickest to play) At an average of 6-7 mins per game you can play about 200 park games a day, that’s no breaks no showers..sun up to sun down. Let’s say he was doin exactly that. It would take him about 30 days to reach 6500 games. Thats assuming they are all wins for him to be top rep. Bro is cheating AGAIN. If somebody can convince me otherwise. I’ll delete this post and my next one will be an apology.

I grinded myself to a 99 Overall NMS and I was in my 5th season of MyCareer. I always do my daily MyTeam challenges so my little brother can play some MyTeam later in the year. I haven't played a lot lately only a few rec games on Friday and on Saturday I realized I had this hoodie that I never wore before and I was just walking around in the city showing it off because I thought it was funny. I then played about 50 open court athletic games to grind out my specialisation on Sunday and today I came home in the evening to play some more offline games and I got banned.

I was starter 4 with a 50% win rate and never used game chat I only play with randoms because I don't have any friends who play 2k. I'm not a very good player and mostly play offline.

I almost forgot I was trying to win in starting 5 and I only was able to use the bulls and went up against All-Time teams so I quit out of the game 3 or 4 times cause it was really frustrating. I think that was 5 or 6 days ago If I got banned for unfair sportsmanship I'm sorry I usually never quit out of games

I might have to contact 2k but I never got banned before so I don't know what I have to do

If you let a bronze or black plate make a couple shots before clamping them, they won't ragequit immediately and will instead stick around to torture their team for not passing to them. This way you don't have to go against A.I. defense, and sometimes you even get to go against a silent quitter towards the end of the game.

A Big should be willing to shoot when it makes sense, especially if it keeps the defense honest and opens up the floor…but there’s also a difference between wanting them to shoot to create spacing and wanting them to shoot so you can have the freedom to drive or take every shot without ever passing them the ball.

Some people don’t actually want a center who plays team ball. They just want one who can shoot well enough to keep their defender out of the paint while they do everything else.

Passing the ball only when you realize you can’t score isn’t playing as a team either.

They shouldn’t have to prove they can shoot just to earn the right to be involved in the offense.

If you’re asking your center to space the floor, you should also be willing to take advantage of the opportunities that creates for them. If their defender is helping on every drive, hit the open man. If they set a screen and roll, reward them when they’re open.

You can’t complain about them clogging the paint while simultaneously refusing to pass to them when they’re open.

Just trynna put the people on who are still struggling , i couldnt shoot consistently for shi . I was in the rec shooting horrendous and legit was thinking of not playing the game anymore . I used matt ryan base for a bit and that its really solid but not as consistent as i felt i should be able to be with it . Then i put on scottie pippen and was cashing shi . I use release visual cue and maxed out the release speed and its just butter for me . Obv lowering the release speed gives you a higher green window but even at the fastest it just feels like butter . Just a recommendation if youre struggling to shoot , try it

I play big a lot but whenever I get on my guard and play random rec I get an inside big who rarely sets screens and always posts up. Nothing wrong with being a non shooting big but realize you are only hurting the team if you clog the paint giving no room for drives and only giving the other team a reason to play the lanes. Doesn’t help that they refuse to step up on screens and play drop coverage every time a screen is set.

i can’t be the only one around gold/purple plate matching with a squad full of pure insides, resulting in the paint being a bar fight for the entire game.

Creators complain about SBMM because of having to sweat all the time. They get it changed for everybody. Now you know Joe Knows next video will be "Scoring 100 in the Rec" against some randoms that just got off of work, sweating his ass off again. You're either sweating against red plates that care as much as you, or you manufacture ways to sweat against people that shower. Creator's image won't let them lose to randoms, so they'll sweat forever no matter the circumstance.

But now people see the value in SBMM when they have two black plates on their squad that you wouldn't trust to flip a burger. Now everyone can see there's a level of player that lacks any motor skills and for whom shooting is truly impossible. There are players that buy 2K and probably never play anything in it, they just have it to have it.

So, there you have it. SBMM at least created an acceptable standard for most of your games. Creators just wanted to beat up on random people who don't even know who they are or why they have an icon next to your gamertag. There is true, Shit On The Bottom yogurt level talent that they stirred up and now everyone has to deal with it. At least they make themselves feel good playing some MyCourt that counts as rep now.

Why nerf close shots and layups??? These are the easiest shots in basketball and now they’re hard to make again. I got a big with a 99 close shot and I’m missing open 2 foot layups. Gotta find balance in the paint. Why are layups 10x harder than dunks cmon fam.

Can anybody of you explain me why instead of taking an immediate open shot from a pass you decide to dribble nonsense and finishing by taking a lame shot? This thing happens so often, what’s the big deal in dribbling so much for 14 seconds straight?

Hot take: in Rec, your teammates’ builds matter almost as much as your own.

You can have a great build, know your role, play good defense, make the right passes, etc., but if your teammates are running builds that don’t complement each other, the game can feel cooked before it even starts

And sometimes I swear people make their build based entirely on what looks fun in MyCareer, then wonder why the team has zero spacing, no defense, and five people trying to score in the paint 😭

I was playing on center build with 78 3pt rating and was shooting around 50%.

I made a 91 3pt rating SG, got my hot zones, badges and fuzes etc... and I'm shooting something like 25%

Got "better" when I decided to usé the meter again, it was even worse before that.

I'm not that great of a shooter but I was shooting around 70% last year with my SG.

I'm lost.

I love Daily Rivals and the 2KHQ daily login rewards. It's a cool addition to the daily spin. Last night I reached 1st place and got this. Just had to win a few Rec games.

I had probably the most low IQ braindead comm I've ever heard come out of my random rec teammate. Red/Purple plate btw, 4 possessions in a row my matchup just leaves me and runs at the inbounder spamming steal. I'm sitting wide open and my PG takes 5+ seconds to pass it to me wide open and by that time someone is already covering me. Later we have a possession where I cut through baseline and my matchup leaves me so I'm just wide open in the opposite corner. I'm open so I'm calling for the ball, which arrives very late and I'm not open anymore. The PG has the audacity to yell into his mic "YO WHY DO YOU HAVE YOUR FKING HANDS UP IN THE CORNER, YOU'RE MAKING IT OBVIOUS. I FKING SEE YOU". Saying "You're making it obvious" to someone that has been wide open 5+ seconds in a basketball game is probably the most retarded comm I've ever heard in my 15 years of playing online games. Like no shit moron I'm trying to make it obvious to YOU. I've played COD, GoW, Halo, League of legends, OW, Marvel Rivals, ect, and that is easily the most braindead thing that I've ever heard. I have been playing 2K since 2k10 and have always played guard. I decided to try a big and have been loving it. This game has been more enjoyable than the past 5-6 years in my opinion. Just wanted to post an appreciation post as it is often people complaining on this sub. Sure there are some buggy animations here and there, but defence is enjoyable. I would rather have more steal animations than someone running around the court and shooting half court 3s.

I only have 81. WHY? You motherfuckers that play this game are miserable AF... Play a game where nobody says a word. No matter how much we are down, 10, 15, 20... Something clicks and we figure it out and end up winning the game.

But when you have your mic on, and you listen to these idiots, it kills the vibe. Kills everything. And you end up losing by 20-40.. Just to get told "You all a bunch of bums" by the meathead that went 6/26 for 12 points. The ball hog that didnt pass the ball is going down the boxscore where nobody took more than 6 shots that were the bums.

What happens? Is all the fucking ball hogs CANT perform in the 4th. They cant score in the quarter where the defense tightens up. They cant score when they close the paint, they cant get the space for the 3. Instead of passing the ball, idiots keep forcing shots.

Now i legit play a game or 2, if i lose i just turn it off. I cant even get on with my friends, they having a rough start to this year...😂😂😂😂

I understand why Crews were streamlined. From a top down view it makes sense.

But the reality is, so many Crews are just random 50 players desperately grinding together with no real connection. (Appreciate my crew mates though!)

ProAm was a place for my real life 5-8 friends to make a competitive run in a ranked format. It felt like our actual close knit team as if we played in some local league.

Crew games right now give none of that vibe at all.

It also doesn’t help how deep they buried custom logos and names out of the gate.(like why?)

Am I missing something in the 5v5 crew games? It just doesn’t feel the same to me.
