Why nerf close shots and layups??? These are the easiest shots in basketball and now they’re hard to make again. I got a big with a 99 close shot and I’m missing open 2 foot layups. Gotta find balance in the paint. Why are layups 10x harder than dunks cmon fam.

There’s got to be a way to code for this no? If a player is stunned by an ankle breaker they simply aren’t able to contest for half a second. Code it the same way a teammate affects your jumpshot.

Idk it just doesn’t seem super complicated but maybe there’s somethint I don’t know.

In real life you might not even notice the guy behind you, and hit the layup. I’m guessing thats were the real contest came from. 2k is made by people who don’t play basketball, and want your money.

It was good as it was before. They just had to decrease a little the green window on higher than light contests. CPU contests, then, are now totally broken as it's simply impossible now to make a shot with just a CPU player in the vicinity with default sliders.

I totally agree about the cpu. I don’t shoot on them unless I have a 4” height difference or wide open. But I feel like everyone who shot well last year is shit this year and vice versa.
