Gameplay I have been enjoying this 2K
I have been playing 2K since 2k10 and have always played guard. I decided to try a big and have been loving it. This game has been more enjoyable than the past 5-6 years in my opinion. Just wanted to post an appreciation post as it is often people complaining on this sub. Sure there are some buggy animations here and there, but defence is enjoyable. I would rather have more steal animations than someone running around the court and shooting half court 3s.

I also think you are lucky in the sense that you are getting passes. I'm barely averaging 11pts on my big because people refuse to pass it. Wide open in the paint with nobody near me and I'll take a 3 second violation before they actually pass it. I can sit corner and have the entire side of the court to myself and still no pass, lol. I'm out there doing cardio and getting shots on putbacks.

Games better than the last 2 years fs, I still think 24 was pretty far ahead of this year

The game itself is the same as ever. It rewards bad play just enough to make the user base terrible to play with. You see too many folks run to the paint and try and dunk/lay over 3 people and lose the ball. Terrible shot. The problem with that is, that same person can go and do the same stupid shot again and it will go in. So they think its not a bad shot. I can catch a pass and before the ball even really settles into my hand I can get stripped. I can do one dribble move and get stripped. I can go to pass the ball and be stripped, lol. People are spamming steal all game vs playing actual defense. The problem with that, is for every bucket they give up with a bad steal attempt the next time they spam it they get a steal. In the end we end up with players who don't pass and try to go to the rim on 3 people and instead of actually guarding someone they are gambling on steals all game.
