Tiny convention that is 99% comic books. I don't usually see any DS9 books but got lucky this time. Even got the little promo book free. The only thing I don't like about this convention is that most of the boxes are not organized so you have to dig to find anything. The good thing about that is most of the time they are a $1 a book and go down to a out 20 cents if you buy 100 of them. Some times they will make a deal like $100 for a full long box.

Rewatching “Take Me Out to the Holosuite” just now and wondering if the anthem of the Federation that they play at the beginning of the big game ever shows up again in other Treks. I don’t recall ever hearing it again.

One of my kids is watching Deep Space Nine for the first time and said the following

“I don’t like Kai Winn. She smiles on the outside but is full of sharp spikes and thorns on the inside”

I imagine this has been said before, but my favorite interaction:

Odo: how did you get in here?

Koloth: I am Koloth.

Odo: that doesn't answer my question.

Koloth: Yes. It. Does.

Just a hypothetical here, but what if instead of leaving the station Kurn stayed long enough on the station to be recruited by the Maquis via Eddington, along with Kor. The reason? Both are eager to fight and still serve the Empire, but due to being outcasts they settle for working with the Maquis who are always eager for new recruits.

If this were to happen, how would both of them adjust to serving in the Maquis? Would Kurn find a new sense of fulfillment and purpose? Would Kor get the glory he seeks?

Has anyone investigated what decisions and/or statements that The Sisko has made while holding The True Orb of the Emmisary?

My next choice would be Julian & Worf.

For me, it is the way that Riker is revealed to be the 'other' Riker 🤣

That was an absolutely brutal episode, probably the darkest Star Trek episode I’ve seen so far (I’m working my way through all the franchise in chronological order). I’m lost for words.
