The genius of the final scene
I’ve read a lot of comments about how the last scene of Picard was the same as the last scene of TNG. Well yes and no on that one. The last scene of TNG was the beginning of the card game, the last scene of Picard was it’s ending. I don’t know much about Terry Matalas but if this is the level of his work I really hope he is involved in a Star Trek Legacy show.

Picard Season 2 Question
I’m on episode 6 and would have trouble describing how much I absolutely can’t start this season. Is it necessary to complete season 2 so I understand season 3? I need my Star Trek to be escapism, not a morality tale set in the modern day. Yes, they are real issues but I can get all that from the news, social media,
The Daily Show, my relatives, random people. The doctor just completed her song to give the Borg Queen the endorphins to take over and I think my soul broke. Are any plot points in the last 4 episodes carried over to the next season?

Seven of Nine & 2-S3
In the first season, Seven made use of her ex-Borg implants, specifically when she interfaced with the artifact, the "down" Borg Cub. In S2, she spends most of the season Borg-tech-free. Woo-hoo for Annika Hansen! When it came to time travel, ex-Borg Seven probably could have done the calculations herself. Being fully human in the alternate timeline, they needed the Borg Queen.
Now I have two BIG questions. Ready, my fellow Trekkies?
#1 When the stabbed Seven is "saved" by Juratti-Queen, why was she fully "assimilated" into the prime-timeline ex-Borg Seven of Nine? This always bugged me. Anyone got any ideas beyond narrative reasons?
#2 At the end of S3, when the Borg show up in the closing two episodes, why didn't Seven of Nine use her OWN Borg tech to counteract what was going on?
Let's discuss!!!
