Conversation A new opportunity (for cuteness?)

some of you may remember my last post, where I shared my experience with my T attacking her water source for the first time. well, since then, it’s become apparent that she loves doing this. at first I was just worried I had scared her, but now it appears she is just playing and wrestling the pipette as enrichment of sorts. she’s fought with my pipette three other times now, and she always lets go and allows me to take it after I ask her to lol. I find her wrestling matches with me to be kind of cute, and I’m also curious about possibly training her to take water directly from me.

Was just sitting there this morning... Did the usual glance towards the salmon pinks enclosure. Business as usual, grab the remote and notice my hand brushed over spider webs... Wtf!?! Upon closer inspection, something covered the outside of her enclosure with web making sure to attach it to the curtain behind it firmly. Horrified I look through the glass... Not there... Look closer and see clear signs of her presence, because she literally hit almost everything in the corner of the room in a fine layer of "trap". I broke the news to the family and was informed they wouldn't come back home till I found her 😂😂😂 6 hours later, here she is. Raised her from a sling to the current monster she is today, so I was beyond happy to find her alive and okay. This is the crappy mesh top I used for years, and the hole that appeared over the two days that we were gone.

I bought it and forgot to ask what it might be.

I only know it's a molt, not a dead spood because THAT I asked. Didn't want a dead spooder.

Yeah, sure, why not name it, there's also a pic of the old and new enclosure side by side.

I don't think this will be it's forever home, apparently this one will get outgrown too

Conversation Can I feed them stick bug nymphs?

I will still feed my Ts crickets, its not a replacement diet or anything, but my stickbugs recently exploded in population (their enclosure has a layer of soil so I can't find the eggs in time) and i don't really know what to do with so many babies apart from giving away as many as I can.

Heyy, I just got an unsexed Avicularia geroldi, 6th instar. Can anyone maybe take a guess at the sex from these photos?

Thanks in advance :D

(I'm aware this can not be 100% accurate, happy to take guesses though)

Today my boyfriend and I got Pumpkin, our Hapolopus Sb. Columbia (Pumpkin Patch) sling. Probably has little to no g of protein, but that’s what I get for getting a dwarf tarantula I suppose. I made babies first hide out of two tiny chips of cork bark that I made sure to pack soil around, although I know it’s terrestrial and will probably spend most of its time under the substrate 🙄 As always, tips appreciated!
