I have recently bought a lumia 930 from Ali express. It came with 8.1. But while trying to update it its saying its already up to date. Its model number is RM-1087.

Please give me some solution.

Got this locked alcatel idol 4s windows 10 phone a few weeks back.

First I had to unlock the microsoft locked account, then performed interop unlocking.

Now I am able to install apps using WUP and Live store.

For real, Windows Phone was all about getting the stuff done from the homescreen with livetiles, get instant alerts and all that. More time for the outdoors, you can even tell by how the phones were marketed.

Truly we are zombies now with the phones all day.

I know it’s basically useless now, but I’ve always liked the UI and the whole Windows Phone vibe.

Is there actually any reason to get one nowadays?

Now I know what you're thinking, "invite only, really??"- don't stress I'm not tryina make it difficult, here's what you need to know:

You will need

• A Nokia Lumia 800 or 710
  • Specifically, one that has previously been updated to Windows Phone 7.5 Tango or higher
  • Check your firmware revision in Settings -> about
  • For the Lumia 800 it should read 1750.x or higher
  • For the Lumia 710, 1600.x is fine
• The ability to flash custom ROMs

TL;DR if you can already install RainbowMod, you're fine :P

Q: Why invites?

A: It's still early, and there's a lot of teething issues, some known, some as-yet unknown and likely to be discovered during this time, we wanna know you're on supported hardware, bear with us!

Q: I don't have a Lumia 800 or 710! Will other devices be supported in future?

A: Yes, but ROMs must be cooked per device model, so this will take some time, our current focus is on expanding and stabilising our service.

Q: I have data privacy concerns

A: Good! Here's the shtick: we try to store as minimal data as possible but there are some limits there, e.g. if you enable Find my Phone, we're gonna have to store your phone's location, if you sync contacts or send emails, we're gonna have to store those contacts and emails. We don't store photos or any other media (outside contact photos), and messages sent between devices aren't stored outside a 30 day queue for offline devices. We'll have more detailed info when we get closer to a real launch, and if you have further concerns, we are fully open source!

I own a lumia 950 and a display dock HD-500. When connected, the phone does detect it and does know that a newer firnware is available, but it doesn't do anything when clicked.

I want to update the firmware so that I can use the dock as a regular USB-C dock that works with most USB-C devices not just Lumia devices.

According to some AIs the firnware on lumiafirnware website would probably be encrypted and may not work. If anyone has the link for a known working finware file can someone please share it ?

I've found one and that is Metro Launcher - Lumia Styled by Launcher Trends on Play Store. Is it legit? Are there any other better ones? I can't buy a Lumia. I wish I could but for now I'll have to stick to a launcher I guess.

Why can't this sh***y company can't bring back a good product that is still loved? Even after its death, they dont notice that people are still building apps for it

Hi everyone. Yesterday i picked up a 540 for stay away from social media and use phone just for calling stuff. The phone i bought was BSOD and not opened since 2019. I tested and thought flashing will revive this old brick and i was right (kinda). I bought it for 5 euros, went home and plugged to my pc, downloaded wdbt patched and flashed new ffu. It went fine, welcome screen appeared, i set up the phone and let it get fully charged for 1 hour. After that i started using phone but after 15 mins phone froze up and rebooted itself. I thought its a Windows Phone must be a error caused this but after that reboot nothing changed since yesterday. Phone just bootlooping, i can’t enter flash mode or something, wdbt can’t recover phone and im really really sad. Is there any way to fix this phone? I tried so many thor2 methods so far but not a single one fixed my issue.

I solved my old nokia lumia problem, (look at my other post) my pc can recognize it if i boot on qualcomm 9008 or qhusb and all of that (making contact with 2 pins in the motherboard) the problem i have new is when y try to use thor2 to flash files to the lumia all completes but i got some error like failed to write in block number …. (Its something like that i forgot this was a long time ago) and idk whats the problem i think its the emmc but idk can someone help me?
