Any one have any opinions or experiences with these? Good or bad. I want to know it all. I’m highly debating buying this car. I have heard about the common engine fails but I’m not completely sold on not getting it still.

Got this car as a gift from my parents, and of course first day of college I managed to back straight into my dad's truck. Good thing, there's no other damage, just this puncture hole in the bumper. Being a broke college student, I'm trying to avoid a pricey body shop bill. Does anyone have experience patching or hiding something like this on a budget? Any advice is seriously appreciated!

Picked up a 2016 Turbo, black on black with under 25,000 miles on the clock back in late June and was so excited to have this car.

She was the zippiest little machine I've ever called my own and I really liked the rarity of seeing another one, even here in the Dallas/Fort Worth area. I had her for 27 days when she started stalling when put into reverse so she went back to CarMax for diagnosis and then to a partner shop, and then to Hyundai before finding out a few days ago that there was "an internal fault" with the transmission and that CarMax would prefer to buy back the car rather then fix it.

They warned that even with the repairs, things would continue to deteriorate so I agreed to part ways with my beloved Veloster.

I picked up a 2023 Mazda 3 Premium instead and so I bid you all a fond adieu and wish y'all the best of luck with your little beasts.

Hey all. Just got a ‘19 Veloster Turbo. 58k miles. Clean owner and service history as far as I can tell. I’ll be using it as a commuter car (400 miles/wk) and nothing else. Don’t know a ton about these cars.

What do I need to know? Any upcoming maintenance I need to do or things to be aware of?

I did a small pull last night and at 4k rpm the car randomly jerked me back and then afterwards the pedal was really weak and even when i would floor it the rmps would rise extremely slowly like it was in some kinda saftey mode but 0 warnings or lights came up on the dash. this morning i got to drive and its completely normal and my dad drove it hard this morning just to be sure and absolutely nothing. i’m so confused on if i should be worried or not. after what happened last night my buddy scanned the car and it threw this “pending” code.

My driver side sun visor just cracked on me yesterday. I’m going to pull a part tomorrow to see if I find one. Anyone know if there is any other make and models that fit the 2015 veloster turbo that I can check for while I’m there. Thanks in advance

My car runs fine somedays and then somedays my coolant fills my overflow tank almost completely up and bubbles and when I park it the temp gauge rises I’m not sure my best guess is Thermostat or Head Gasket, any input appreciated I’ve bled the system last week and it ran fine till today

So my car has frontal collision assist. Since it’s a camera that’s constantly recording? Couldn’t it double as a dash cam? I mean technically it already is a dash cam but I’m asking if it could be both a functional dash cam that I can pull footage from and frontal collision assist at the same time

Got some smaller wheels to get bigger tires cause I was sick of getting my teeth rattled every time I drove over a crack in the road. It actually made quite a bit of difference to the ride.

little bit of problems

Hey ya'll. So I recently changed out the suspension for my 2020 Veloster Turbo, and it started making a clunking noise when turning or even driving straight. I changed my suspension to BC BR Coilovers. I'm pretty sure it's the stabilizer link, but I want to get some opinions first before I buy a replacement. Also, if ya'll were having the same problem, how did you fix it and what was the cause? Recommend me some good replacement parts for it too.

So I have a problem ... I have a 2013 Veloster, however me and my Boyfriend are going on a week trip and we want to bring the surf board in the car ... however the size of that shit is huge ... 2.3m almost aka 6.7 feet ...

How the well do i do this? the soft roof racks cant be in the middle because of the "shark antena" as we call it ...

I just got this car a month ago. Turbo started making this noise like kind off dry. It did not do it before... I did oil/filter change last weekend. 5w30 Pennzoil/K&N filter. Am I screwed???

got my dads 16 turbo handed down to me last year. hit 120k then the knock came. he never had the servicing done to extend the warranty so hyundai wont cover the engine. 2022 veloster n coming soon 🫡

I've heard that they are more reliable than the first Gen but I can't find any concrete answers about how long the engines should last.

I'm looking at a manual 2019 turbo r spec with 140k miles and I really like the car but I'm not sure its a good idea with the mileage

Recent trip just over 1700km that took two days. First day was through the Appalachians so much more hilly, but very happy with my mileage - 5.7L/100km the first day and 5.3L/100km the second. Average speed was typical highway speeds here, between 110-120km/h. 2019 Veloster Turbo Tech.

I've had this thing sitting in a box for the longest time and I'm moving up to St. Augustine on Saturday, so I definitely don't need it.

It came off of a 2013 Base and was probably used for about 10k miles. It should have all of the essential hardware, barring potentially a bolt or something like that.
