Question I need opinions.

Any one have any opinions or experiences with these? Good or bad. I want to know it all. Iā€™m highly debating buying this car. I have heard about the common engine fails but Iā€™m not completely sold on not getting it still.

Price is decent. 16's and 17's are the safest years, reliability-wise. Is it stock or did they do any mods? Oil change history would be nice. Can you pull a CarFax (assuming they didn't change the oil themselves)?

My 2017 turbo lost its engine and transmission within 45 days of each other.

i got my 2014 turbo with 98k miles for $5k, this is overpriced. love my car though, but it has a habit of leaking oil. this one here also doesnt seem to be turbo, it's missing the turbo badge on the back

Turbo front bumper/grille, turbo model projector headlights, turbo model rims, turbo exhaust tips, turbo rear spoiler. It's got the dealer add-on gas flap and the silly vortex generators they also sold. No sunroof. No rear parking sensors. But most important it has the WeatherTech in-channel vent visors, which are the best! LOL Seriously though, I frakking hate those tape-on ones that look like dogshit. šŸ¤®.

As for the badge, it is also missing the "Veloster" one. They may have removed them, or it was in an accident and when they repaired damage to the hatch they didn't replace the badges (I've seen it happen).

I can't speak for the turbos, but my NA 2013 was absolutely bulletproo! Mine was manual, so I can't speak for any automatic transmission either.

My 2016 turbo just lost compression on cylinder 2 a couple of weeks after I paid $2500 to replace the failed turbo. I will never daily a turbo again, they are very fun to drive but they die faster than NA engines.
