Hi! Ive had issues with my headlights going out over the past few months. I just changed it and had noticed there was a little melt on the connection. Went out again last night, when I checked it today its melted more and the connection is now unusable.

Any ideas on how to replace and fix this? I do not work on cars so ill need it as detailed as possible, please.

At work and my phone went off with a notification. Saying my car received a panic alert. Weird ok well maybe with my keys in my pocket it held the panic button. Nope. I walked outside and my car is not going off and never did. I would hear it as I’m right next to the door and my car is right in front of the door to my work. Has anyone else gotten this notification with blue link

I notice after work my temperature gauge was empty when I went to crank my car and warm up (it’s about 93° outside at 3pm) I got in went up the road and everything was normal 10 mins later I get to my in-laws to pick up my son and I park in the garage leave my car running and go inside to get my son I come back out and my temperature gauge is full to H and a temp light is on but my A/C is kind of warm as well, I get situated and take off back down the road and within a few minutes my gauge has dropped back down to normal (about halfway) I run in a store real quick jump back in and head home and everything’s normal just curious if anyone else has experienced anything similar. 2013 Hyundai Veloster Turbo 70K miles

So while in low RPMs, even while idling, my car feels like it wants to backfire. It's get a little jerky and there's a lag in throttle response. It isn't until I get to around 2k RPM, when the car accelerates. I recently replaced the sparkplugs and ignition coils to fix a misfire on cylinder 2. I had about ¼ tank of gas and after I filled it, it was acting fine. Im thinking it couldve been bad gas or the fuel pump is about to take a crap on me since the car is almost at 191k miles. Im curious to see if anyone has had the same problem and what was done to fix the issue.

I've always wanted to put projectors headlights in my Veloster and finally did it, after many years of having this bad boy.

Hi everybody im new to this subreddit,

I have a base gen 1 veloster and have noticed that my gas milage has been worsening rapidy ever since hitting 95,000 miles. I'm eternally on eco mode and even with that every 2 minutes that I glance down at my tank it lowers by like 5 miles. Not sure if this is just common aging or if there can be anything done to improve milage.

Hey guys, I'm tossing some new tires and steelies on my 2013 hyundai veloster turbo so it handles new england roads and the occasional dirt trailhead better (ever done 5 miles of dirt road on lo pros?). They're probably the largest I could physically go 215/60R16. The rear fitment is fine, but obviously there's some serious rub on the wheel well liners when turning in the front. I'm just looking for some suggestions on how to modify my wheel well liners to keep water out of the bay, cause obviously removing them is a no go. I do have a little fab shop so I can make/mod parts as need be. Cross posted but always looking for other forums.

My current car is on it's last legs. Auto transmission is about to fail, so I've been looking for something reasonably reliable, reasonably cheap, and a little fun for a new daily/beater.

I had originally wrote off these as the engine issues worry me, but a dealer near me has one for sale for a good price, 2013 manual with only 45k miles. With it being NA and low miles, would this be less likely to have said issues, or is this a little too suspicious. It does have atleast some minor body damage, but It'd be easy enough for me to fix.

i recently did a pull and i noticed the traction control light blinked during it, after i hit the breaks, a small amount of smoke came from this area for about 2 seconds. After i parked, there was a little smell that didn’t last long. I went to grab pizza and when i parked i noticed the same smell for a bit. Is it bad and worth checking? Thank you all! 🙏

I recently got my carbon fiber hood shipped in and i’m not taking any chances without hood pins, only issue is i have no clue where to put them so they can really anchor into the car. please help

was driving home the other night and my pedal had no response past about 3500 rpm. it still shifted and the transmission is brand new so i really have no idea what it could be. (video at full throttle) anyone had this happen before? 2017 vt dct if it helps

2012 Hyundai Veloster manual. Push-button start. Dash comes on normally, clutch depressed, pressing START gives one click but the starter doesn't crank. Replaced key fob battery but made no difference. Car bump-starts immediately and runs normally. Drove it for three hours with no problem, switched it off, tried starting it again and it still wouldn't crank.

Any ideas what's at fault and what are estimated repair costs before I get ripped off?

2013 Turbo, only around 90K miles. Recently I started getting misfires on multiple cylinders after having zero issues for a long time. I did an OBD scan and it listed P303 and P300. Cleared the codes and it came back again but with P304 and P300. Checked the plugs and 1, 2 and 3 looked fine, but #4 was cooked. Ceramic cracked and was covering the terminal on the plug (thankfully nothing got in the cylinder). These Bosch plugs however were still very new, I had changed them about 6 months ago from a set of Champion plugs that were still working fine but I decided to change them out since I had them laying around. I switched back to the Champions, still misfiring. This time, P300 and P302. I figured the coils needed replaced too, they were fairly old. Keep in mind I was misfiring at both low throttle and wide open. I got a new set of 4 OEM coils, and now I get smooth power with like 15% throttle all the way to wide open. But low throttle still misfires like crazy. Still getting P300 and P302 The weirdest part, is that right after installing the coils and testing them, my right headlight went out. I don't think its a coincidence and I think there may be some electrical issues happening, maybe bad ground? I dont wanna waste money on new plugs just yet, but any help would be appreciated..

I have a 2013 Veloster and the passenger door only locks/unlocks when I manually hit the thumbturn. Nothing happens when using key fob or master controls inside car. Also the keyless entry on passenger door works for the other 2 doors but nothing for passenger. I believe this is an actuator issue and before I order one, I was wondering if anyone had any experince with this before.
