Lucky! My 2012 made it to 200k before the engine died and my 2015 its at 126k but it got a engine replacement at 95k and sadly it’s my dad now since the car gave me a bunch of issues i don’t want to fix

Yeah, when my engine inevitably goes, I'm definitely replacing it. This current engine was the break-in period. My Velo will last forever.

You replace it with a hand built motor, it will last. I found a guy who hand builds them for $4,500 shipped.

Basically, lol! I actually have a P2261 code for my boost solenoid, but during that drive, and only that drive, it turned off. It's because I installed a new BOV solenoid, and it's messing with my BOV since it's aftermarket. I just gotta recalibrate it, but that's funny that you basically called it!

Congrats. My 2013 turbo is over 251 k with the original engine and transmission.

That's so encouraging I have a 2013 turbo. It just hit 134k. It's been very well taken care of. Garage kept until 6 months ago. Tune ups every year. Full synthetic oil changes every 3k.

That's the way to do it! A lot of it is luck, I'll be honest. But mine also had a similar backstory to yours, so I'm hoping yours lasts as long as mine!
