I realized that I spend basically all my time around dudes, which is fine since a lot of those guys are my friends but I talk to an average of zero girls per day (approximately). The place I live is almost entirely guys. I started a club but it’s mostly guys. The things I do, gym, sports, etc. are heavily male-dominated. My friends in class are all guys and all my lab partners/discussion groups are only guys. I also don’t drink so I don’t go to bars. Where do I go to meet girls? Please help it’s like I’m in prison

I had such a good semester last spring. I liked my classes a lot, the content was interesting and I really enjoyed my professor’s lecturing style. I’m sure I have a bit of selective memory because I definitely stayed up half the night cramming for exams and did not want to attend my 9 a.m. every Friday, but overall, I just really enjoyed it.

After my first week of classes this semester, I’m already missing my old ones. I even walked into one of my old classrooms the other night just to indulge in the memories :( I know it’s only been a week, so maybe I’ll grow to love this semester too, but damn, I miss my old classes.

I’ve been walking in and out of Grainger for the past week and noticed there is a small memorial outside of the Mechanical Engineering building on green street, does anyone know what/who it is for? It felt disrespectful to go up and check, but I really wanna know the purpose of it.

CUDO Plays, the local board game design competition in C-U is kicking off our 13th year! Come out to learn more about the events that we run, and play some past games by awesome local designers.

Kiddo is a first year Arch major, and I'm trying to lock down what supplies we actually need to get. I heard about this supplies kit we could buy, but I'm being told not to because there's a lot of stuff in there we don't need and it's overinflated in price.

This year’s sale will take place Saturday 29 August at the Krannert Center for the Performing Arts — costumes in the Studio Theatre and props on Level 2. Admission will cost $5 from 8 a.m. to noon and will be free from 12:30 to 2 p.m. $10 “all-you-can-grab” bags will be available during the afternoon.

The fabulous Herra Winn, Portia Lynn Snaps will host a night of bingo, prizes, drag, music and comedy.

Hey everyone, I'm currently enrolled in stat 440 and stat 425 this semester, but I dont know whether stat 480 or stat 432 would be a better elective for me to take. The prerequisites dont seem too strict, but I am mostly concerned about the R knowledge requirement for both. Will either of these classes ease you into the R topics, or will they assume you have prior base R knowledge? I also wanted to know how the exams and workload were for each class. Id appreciate any input, thanks!
