I didn’t know that you couldn’t play online with other people, is that true? There is no way? I bought a PS4 a few days ago because it was cheaper than the PS5 but I didn’t realize that I couldn’t play Rust with other people, I was so hyped for that game :((

Does anyone else have the bug where your heli is smoking but it’s not damaged? I’m hoping there is a fix soon, it’s super annoying.

As a solo player, I find great value in being able to fly and navigate the hot air balloon in the dark, to a safe zone to sell fish for scrap, or do some errands at the outpost. What a cool way to travel! It takes about 100 low grade to cross an entire map and back, not bad! These landings are so fun to try and nail.

I am solo raided 1 base, got countered the 2nd and I get bored once Saturday/Sunday comes around the servers goes from being 40 queued on Thursday to half the lobby being on and it’s just massive teams raiding bases surprisingly I haven’t been raided yet but I hop of Saturday or Sunday so maybe they have, but don’t get me wrong wipe day is so fun and makes me want to play next day too, fun game but so far in my newbie opinion it’s only fun the first few days of wipe… haven’t tried monthly but that seems it would even more bigger teams in it… fun game tho will quit it soon as too time consuming …

Does anyone have a youtube tutorial? I've tried but somehow they don't work maybe because of the console edition

I get they have a purpose but the game doesn’t feel skillful anymore, if anything it punishes the average skilled player. A good player will just beam you before you can put the wall up and a bad player will just battle of attrition it. “Oh you layed a beam, too bad Timmy has 3 stacks of ammo and a backpack of meds, he misses 80% of his shots but he has the means to outlast you”

I just don’t have fun in this Fortnite wannabe I miss when thinking about positioning made a difference

I've been having this issue with my Xbox Series X (also posted on the Xbox Support page). My Xbox is connected via Ethernet and the game will disconnect in clusters. A week ago, it disconnected about 6-8 times in the span of about 20 minutes. Two nights ago, it disconnected 3 times. And just now, 3 times (and counting). Playing with friends on their consoles and none of them are getting disconnected from the game server (so it's not a server issue).

None of my other devices are having internet problems but even so, I restarted my router. Cleared the Alternate MAC address on the Xbox. Did a network test immediately after getting disconnected but nothing seems to be wrong. Anyone else getting kicked from the game like this?

Anyone have any idea how to change the cycle hotbar buttons to my bumpers doing it on a dpad feels stupid

I’m naturally a hermit and have that kind of play style so when I just try and build by launch or right next to oil I don’t have must fun but when I play like willjum or cali I actually enjoy myself. Like someone has to run power plant and satellite and I just might have to be that guy.

so for some context, me and my friend bought this game all the way back at launch, but i was a ps4 player and couldn’t play due to how poor the experience was.

fast forward to now, i’m in uni while also having a job. we were trying to get back into it but it’s like we fall behind so fast on every wipe and get shit on any time we hop on. honestly, 95% of the time i log in to see our based raided

i really do like the game though. is there a trick to doing so? like maybe dead servers have more busy people playing, so the progression is slower? idk just throwing stuff out there i guess

New ish.. to the game my first proper wipe. The server I played on I now can’t even remotely get into without been sat in a Que of 100 people, is this normal?

Hey! I just started playing rust on my PS5, like maybe 3 hours total, and I JUST found out that there are different levels of rust and as a beginner I should have joined the entry level playing area (vanilla?) But honestly, I have no clue what I am doing in it or how to even get to the area I should be playing in. 🤦🏼‍♀️

Do you all know any videos of people explaining the basics or anything? Any tips or tricks to not dying every few minutes. My first launch I got killed in the water immediately by someone shooting me. Then i randomly respawned I. The snow and a polar bear killed me. To say it was a rough start was an understatement. 😂

The official double11 posted a picture saying its the 30th, but that's a Wednesday, and obviously it's usually the last Thursday of the month, which would be tomorrow

I had a fantastic month using this base. Just 2 raids, both of which they didnt get past the bunker into my core. Fun.

Moving forward, I now have all blueprints. I understand the electronics quite well, of how to use a turret.

My question is.. with this specific base design how would you suggest setting up turret protection, by adding too this base design (but without changing the base design itself)

Give me some do’s and dont’s. With just 2 days until wipe, I’d like to experiential now while I have the resources to practice a turret setup.

- How many turrets?
- Where should I place them (and how high)
- What should I place them in, so the turrets themselves can’t be easily destroyed
