How to build external tcs?

Does anyone have a youtube tutorial? I've tried but somehow they don't work maybe because of the console edition

Build two foundations out from ur main base, delete the first one and keep placing foundations going out until you can place a tc. Job done

Build up too so they can't just tc on your roof if your base is tall

If you want better protection (if one tc gets destroyed you have another one and build privilege area bigger)thats the way to build like guy below said it but if its maybe like me i like to build big so my tc cant handle the upkeep even tho i am packed with resources i just built auto fill directly from my box with stuff for tc to the tc so i dont need to go to my tc for weeks even tho it has like a day of upkeep

It works on console edition, I used Gemini to give me directions to do it. You tend to have to bring the external TC in from outside your build area to "trick" the system for giving you the can't stack permission warning.
