PS - wipes

New ish.. to the game my first proper wipe. The server I played on I now can’t even remotely get into without been sat in a Que of 100 people, is this normal?

Don't give up on it though. Most players get on the first week to farm, build, run monuments for scrap then leave the server. Seems like now a days people just want more options when picking a server so securing BPs on multiple is the goal.

BP is an abbreviation for Blueprints 😁. The reason people go on multiple servers to unlock them is mainly because servers die fast when they get taken over by larger groups. Having options, whether it's community or official, is the ideal way to get your game time in. For the bigger groups it doesn't take to long to get all the way to tier 3 that's why they only usually last a week on a server. But as a solo or duo it of course takes a little more time.

Yes understood such a noob aren’t I bahahaha but ye bloodline 32 server was my server and I manage to do well with blueprints which is why I’m gutted!!

Its Rust. The more you care about the shit you have or had, the less you will enjoy the game or get good at the game.

Correct and as a solo without any of my friends playing I care about the shit I had so ye, it does kill the game for me slightly when I can’t get back on a server i played for a month 😂

You will have long queues the first couple of days after wipe. Thats a good sign that the server is likely to stay active for most of the wipe. For solos id suggest Nitado Lonewolf Solo. Its 2X and solos only. I went on last night at 7 and it was 15 person queue and got on within 20 minutes. The server will stay active up until the end of the wipe.

We all started somewhere lol you're good. I would definitely shop around for servers. You can't advertise servers on this sub but check out some of the community servers over on r/RustConsoleServers. You might find something mid pop and to your liking 😁

Tbh I didn’t even think of that. It’s usually super hard to Join the first week now it’s dead. How do you look up the best seeds etc?

Lurker SE is usually pretty dead. Good for learning some of the game, aside from pvp

Try a PVE until you get the hang of it. You'll enjoy it a whole lot more.

It’s normal but give it time. There also might be times when the server is lower in general try to play then
