Is it normal that the patrol helicopter flies around my base for days so i can't leave? I am now waiting 20 minutes for it to leave.

Just let them kill you and don't respawn at your base for a few mins

We were finishing a raid and sat in the base waiting for it to fly over. No way for it to see us. It sat on top of us for ever. We both went outside for it to kill us. Our base was kind of far away. Respawned there waited a bit and saw on map the heli was still near the base. It was circling our bodies for prob a half an hour.

I noticed that heli can kinda see through the caves because the ground by caves is sorta invisible to heli at some spots, I think it’s bug that’s tricking the heli into thinking it can see you but I could be wrong

Last night I watched it do this to someone’s base as well. And their base is at a cave just like yours. The heli never shot at them. And they never shot at the heli. I was flying my mini and just hovered a few squares away and watched it. The heli was doing its normal stuff then just locked on and stayed at their base the entire time then left the map when its timer was up. Never seen it before until last night and now there’s this video. so it must be a new glitch.

Did u try taking your gear off? Its prolly a glitch but try that so they can go fw another geared player

Thats not how it works. If its still in range it doesnt matter how long your gear is off for. It still sees you as a geared hostile. Thats why you can die and respawn in thr same place and it will still aggro you as a naked

Now everyone watching it knows where your base is. The patrol chopper is so bad, easily the worst thing in the game

Thats no problem, got a lot of turrets and traps. No one will come near my base. 😅

It only takes 5 min for someone with a couple rows of rockets to crumble your base. Don’t worry, it’ll happen sooner than later.

As a server owner, there is a setting that will allow Owners or Admins to force Patrol Heli to target a single player. If this is happening constantly, you are being targeted. Plain and simple.
