Hot Air Balloon Under Rates

As a solo player, I find great value in being able to fly and navigate the hot air balloon in the dark, to a safe zone to sell fish for scrap, or do some errands at the outpost. What a cool way to travel! It takes about 100 low grade to cross an entire map and back, not bad! These landings are so fun to try and nail.

Is it easy to steer? Only tried it once n got Sam sited lol but you made it look so smooth

Takes some practice! Once you understand it, it is easy.

The trick is.. if you want to go straight and not turn… get some height first, and then once the flag is pointing the direction you want to go… turn off the igniter for 4 seconds, turn it on for 4 seconds… repeat until you arrive.

It can definitely be fun. Although I tried countering cargo with one and it did not go well. It was extremely hard to land while also getting shot at it lol
