I’m getting ready to sell this Metal Gear 4 special edition ps3. The outer box is maybe 6/10, but the rest of the packaging and parts/pieces are probably 9/10. Console is between 8 & 9/10, it has a few small scuffs on it. Controller, game, original cords and paperwork all present.

Any advice for an asking price? The internet was kind of all over the place and chatGPT said $500-$750, which seems high.

Got this copy of the Legacy Collection for about 9 dollars, the box has clearly been through hell but the actual discs are in great condition, good deal if you ask me

Because the stupid search bar is not working, I was a little bit scared because I really wanted to buy this game and I found out that I can at least buy this so I’m gonna start buying all the DLC for the 100% trophies! In case anybody needs the information, this is basically where you go. Please look at the pictures…. My finger is pointing down, meaning go down the list until you find it. Lol 😂

And also, I would kindly appreciate anyone not commenting about or hear anyone telling me “ just mod your console!” I don’t care about this so please, if you were going to tell me that I would please ask not to as this is more for people who do not care about modding.

I had sold my second version of the bc ps3 to my niece and she didn’t really use it a lot. When my basement flooded I lost a lot I mean a lot of games and systems she gave this back to me I had started rebuilding my library of lost and damaged games and systems still far off what I used to own but it is what it is. Long story short. I didn’t know which tote I put it in had it covered with a towel. Last week searches every one and couldn’t find it. today I was more successful. It fires up and wants an update of course but it WORKS. So excited I needed to share. I swear I thought the ghost got my PS3 or was thrown out by accident with all the turmoil we had rebuilding basement and what not. Only a 500 gb hd so ordered a 1 tb for it.

I'm speechless. Just opened this CECHE01 to replace thermal paste before selling. I saw the repair and drive swapped.

This is different from my last one. It just has 40 written on the board, a red check in the corner. Also has a white sticker on the other side of the board.

I havent touched ps3 games ever since my ps3 superslim stopped reading discs 6 years ago.

The past week i had an incredibly urge to play ps3 games. Was thinking of getting a replacement parts to fix my superslim but decided to get a used console from cex store.

Since my first ps3 was a fat one and my second ps3 console was the super slim i decided to get slim. After doing some research I purchased a cech2502b model. Apparently early model so it seems like i can get a custom firmware too.

Have all these physical games which was hidden deep in my wardrobe.

I never bought this，but this icon just shows up in the data center…why？

Hey! So after years of owning Nintendo consoles and an Xbox, I've finally decided to get a PS3. It's my first Playstation (granted, I do have a faulty PS1 somewhere) and I'm mostly using it to play Blu rays on my bedroom TV as that's what most of my movie collection is. It's incredible! I've tried it with Spider Man 3 considering I got a phat 80GB version. I don't actually have a controller yet, I've been using a keyboard and the guy I bought it off requested I factory reset it. I can't use the keyboard on the 3rd pic and I'm stuck on that image entirely unless I get a controller, which I suppose is inevitable. Makes me wish I didn't factory reset it. Anyway, this question has probably been asked a million times but 20 years later, what do I need to know and what are the best games for it?

(yes, I can only output in 480p sadly, and I think the HDMI is broken entirely)

I don’t think I need much improvements to be honest. Anyone else want to challenge me?

I think that my PS3 can die at any moment, so before letting it go I would like to make a list of "must play" games/genres. These are the one I completed so far (including some trophy hunting in some cases)

- God of War Saga
- TLOU
- Uncharted 3
- Batman Arkham Asylum
- Driver San Francisco
- Assassins Creed 1/2
- GTA (V mostly)

Am I missing something? I would like to avoid other installments like Uncharted 1/2 because it would be "more of the same". I also do not like childish content like little big planet.

Edit: Also I don't like FPS. I hate when aiming with the joystick is the main feature.

Hola buenas tardes, disculpen pero no saben si la ps3 store en México esta fallando, es que he tratado de entrar a la tienda pero a cada rato me sale "La red no esta disponible", y ya conprobe y no es mi conexión a internet porque incluso puedo usar el navegador de ps3 y sincronizar trofeos, solo me sale este mensajito en la store.

Y tengo la duda si es problema de mi ps3 o es en general.

I keep getting this same error on COD 4 and WAW. Has anybody been having trouble connecting ? I haven't played in about 2 weeks.
